So, Riever showed me the blogging system... and here it is - the first ever Left 4 Dead Division blog post!

Where better to start than the recent past?  3rd battalion has recently been spun up from nothing, setting a record for TAW with the first Oceanic battalion within the organisation.

What started as a small idea quickly blossomed into a fevered rush to fill the battalion with eager players to carry the TAW flame.  In only a couple of weeks, the battalion has grown to 24 members!

Special thanks go to Laggyfish [LD DO] for putting in all the hard work to make it possible.  He took the idea to start the battalion, and ran with it.  I'll be honest, I wasn't totally convinced it would work at the start (after all, if people down under wanted to be in TAW, surely they already would be...) but honoured Laggy's idea with "yeah sure, give it a go," or words to that effect.

How wrong was I?!
