We will be temporarily taking the SO, XO and CO classes down on the Open Learning website. There will be some changes to the SOP's and how each position flows within TAW and we will put them back online once we finish the changes to those classes. The other classes will remain up and running because the changes made will not drastically affect the way each position functions within TAW. We will finish these classes as quickly as possible so your patience is appreciated.

Hello everyone
TAW Education Center here, with a few very exciting and promising announcements for you.
A while ago, our Unit went through quite a few changes. After a lot of hard work and tons of feedback we managed to get to a point where we are excited to finally present to you :
EDU stands for TAW Education Center. For 2 years now, our Unit has upheld a continuous effort to deliver courses to our members and build on the future leadership for TAW.
To ensure a high-quality learning environment for our members. We wanted to create something new, something exciting. Something that this great community deserves.
With that mindset, we created our online platform.
For more information, please refer yourself to our previous Blog Post : Here
The main reason for transitioning, is to standardize all teaching for everyone, giving all members the opportunity to have access to all classes 24 hours a day instead of only once or twice a month.
For those who prefer getting taught by listening to one of our Instructors, please get a hold of us on Teamspeak.
The courses can be found by clicking on one of the two URLs below. By going to our wiki's. Or by looking at EDU - < Online Education Center > on teamspeak!
Do not worry, we have created a tutorial for all of our members to access and allow them to succesfully complete your online courses.
Right here!

The Openlearning website is still a work in progress. While you are completing these courses, please give us feedback through comments or e-mails so improvements can be made.
Thank you!
With lots of changes as well as a promising future for our community ahead, TAW Education Center is looking for a few extra members to reinforce our team in the near future and ensure a continuous excellence in creating a learning environment.
What do we expect from an EDU Instructor?
Teach and train members about their positions
Guide members on basic to advanced topics in leadership
Develop and write in the TAW Guides
Play whatever games you desire
Be part of an active project team
Attend Staff meetings
Find enjoyment in the work you do!
Please note: Becoming an Instructor in EDU requires a transfer from your current Division. If you are currently in a staff position in your Division you must take your choice seriously and plan ahead in the event that you are selected.
