Training will consist of Tank Company (tier 6) Strap on your best tier 6 tank you have, We’ll be challenging random Clans or random Players.
Remember If you can’t be there please make an excuse on the calendar on TAW website.

Anybody in battalion 7 or 8 that prefer to train on the days of the other battalion can switch.

~Tier 8 Tank Company~
Heavy/blocker: IS-3, Tiger II, T-32 (AMX50 100 is very nice too, but not as heavy/blocker)
Medium: Lorraine, Type59, T-44, PantherII (dont know if a pershing is any good tbh)
Arty: S-51, SU-14, GWPanther (M12 is ok too, but not the top-choice)
Scout: T-50-2, AMX 13 90, Chaffee (T-50-2=Fast/best scout. AMX+Chaffee=semi-scout backstabbers)
TD: Ferdinand, ISU-152 (T28 might work for base defence, it's too slow to switch positions really,although is nicely armored)
~Tier 6 Tank Company~
Heavy/blocker: KV3 (maybe ARL 44: bad armor=not a real heavy/blocker,
but nice penetration of gun and better mobility)
Medium: KV-1S,T34-85 (Easy8 & VK3001H/P and VK3601H(very slow medium) can work aswell)
Arty: Grille (M7Priest also can help, but it's very weak, su-5 is "useless")
Scout: T-50 (best scout tank in the game for dodging bullets)
TD: Slugger, SU-100, JgdPzIV (they all are not that usefull in tier6 but ok to fill up i guess)
~Tier 4 Tank Company~
Heavy/blocker: B1 (only non-premium tier 4 heavy)
Medium: PanzerIII, T-28, M3 Lee (PzIII and M3 Lee are kind of heavy/blocker aswell in that tier)
Arty: SU-26(3 of those and an arty-range-based strategy=almost sure win)
Scout: T2-LT, BT-2/BT-7, Luchs, Locust (PanzerIII-A should work aswell)
TD: T82, MarderII (T82 is very fast and quite powerfull but no armor, MarderII has incredible viewrange)

Once training is finished, you can join the Tank Races
It has been a long time tradition of the TAW Clan.
Get your fastest tank and get ready for action and fun.
There will also be 3 or 4 punishers that will monitor the race and shoot at any cheaters.
When the racers have completed the defined number of laps, then it’s become a fight: racer tanks against the punishers tanks
The last surviving racer will be the winner.

From Sunday 11th March 13.00h CET to Sunday 18th March 13.00 CET we will keep on track of how many you recruited. The winner (most recruits in that period) will win 3000 in game gold!
Keep track of the recruits you got in within the time limits and send it to Hxhasdas before Sunday 18th March 19.00h CET. Only applicants that applied on the TAW website AND did there boot camp will be accounted for.

A word from our DO:
We went through a lot of changes recently thanks to our growth.
We gave the North American (NA) side room to grow. So they own battalion numbers 1 trough 5 (they will have a third soon), remember we probably will have to accommodate for World of Warplanes soon too.
Europe (EU) will have 6 troughs 10. We did this so we don't have to shift numbers anymore in the near future. SO NO WORRIES, THERE WILL BE NO MORE MAJOR CHANGES THIS YEAR (Unless TAW-command requests it). This system allows us up to a 1000 members. On the European side we are understaffed thanks to 3 fully operational battalions. SO IF YOU HAVE ASPIRATIONS TO GO UP HIGHER THIS IS YOUR CHANCE. A lot of staff have dual or triple functions right now, this is not the ideal situation, so the staff members will eventually give up their dual/triple role.
What will stay is that members from battalion 6 (-TAW-) will have important functions in battalion 7 and 8 because of their experience. Battalion 6 is purely focused on Clan Wars, that doesn't mean these members can have a productive day to day job on the other battalions. Battalion 7 and 8 are sister battalions and at this point in time they will have the same agenda, that means they are doing the same thing at the same time. They will be self sufficient in the near future, when all the staff training is done and everything is running smoothly. If there are any questions about these major changes please contact your Chain of Command (Coc). So ask your Fireteam Leader (FL) or Squad Leader (SL), if they don't know they should go to their Platoon Leader (PL) or Field Specialist (FS), if they don't know they should go to their Commanding Officer (CO). All Drill Instructors are reminded to include Advanced Tactical Center training (ATC) in their boot camps. There is now a small step-by-step checklist on how to use it in the Boot camp channel on teamspeak. Also the Drill Instructors should make the matchnight times clear to their recruits.

More changes again for 3rd and 4th battalion
We again have an luxury problem for the in game clan of 4th battalion. It's filled up to it's maximum capacity again. Therefore the second change will be made. All tanks that are 2 or 3 below maximum tier (maximum tier is 10 for Heavy's, 9 for TD's and mediums, 8 for arti) will transfer from 4th battalion in to 3rd battalion.
3rd battalion will have two platoons. Second platoon will be training platoon (2 or 3 below maximum tier) and first platoon will be clan battle platoon (maximum tier or one below). Both platoons will be part of the [-TAW-] in game clan.
These plans will be affected immediately so every member involved please contact MOH (XO) after tonight's match night. After a cool down period of three day's you will be able to apply to [-TAW-]. These changes will also be announced in tonight's match night.

evicting owners of territory in North Africa. Due to the latest of three successes in the region,
TAW is now the proud owner of fine coastal real estate. The resources of the Moroccan land
have been used to purchase an in-game icon, displaying our colors on the clan wars map and in
future updates will be viewed on the tanks of TAW members.

Hi All,We would like to mention to you that from Tuesday 27th 2011 the World of Tanks EU side will organise a Tankcompany at 19:30 GMT/UTC.The EU side has a mandatory matchnight on Wednesdays and Sundays, clan wars at Thursdays, and that will continue as usual.But these are the days you can join us in a pre-organised Tank Company:

Thanks for visiting our World Of Tanks Blog and we wanted to tell you a bit about who and what we are! We are a new Battalion within TAW and have got off to a really exciting start with the launch of our new website and support from the whole TAW clan network.
We currently run two Battalions, the first is run by MrHazz being Battalion 1 on the North American server and Battalion 2 which is our infamous EU server run by KellysHeros. We are working our way up towards clan wars on both servers and always on the look out for new and expert players alike to help us reach our goal this side of Christmas.
So even if you are a current TAW member we encourage you to pop over and visit us and meet the two teams and either side will explain how to get the best from your tanks and you can even join in our now famous wackie tank races...So we will see you all on the start line and bring along a friend or two and lets all have FUN!
