    New FPS Games: Operation 7

    Hi all TAW members,

I was told by someone about a month a go about this free FPS game, Operation 7 by Netgame (op7.netgame.com). It was on closed beta back then, and I think it is open beta now.  So, heck I tried it on new year, and the game was awesome guys. Some features are:

    • COMPLETE modification of your gun. From the barrel of the gun, the handlebar, the magazine, scope, name it -- all guns are customizeable. Adding or removing part of your gun also affects the performance of your gun.
    • Gun-buying and renting system is just like real life. You buy the gun for about 10,000 Gold (OP7's in-game currency), then you have to buy the bullet too, for certain amount of days (3 days - 90 days). Modifications also have to be bought, and the costs are variable, depending on what you buy. The real good thing is, the gun and modifcations are yours forever. You just have to buy the bullets. Beside having to buy the bullets, sometimes you have to repair your gun if you use it too often. If you don't, you usually will get your gun jammed when you're in the middle of the game (happened to me twice).
    • Moving on, this game is somehwat realistic (for me).The gun and modifications and the renting system are realistic (very realistic). The gameplay is also realistic, and it is similar to Combat Arms and Urban Terror. I can't find any other little details of what are realistics (lol?).
    • This game has 4 missions: Death Match, Survival, Hold Line, and Head Hunting.  Death Match and Survival I think are just stupid because basically you just have to kill as many enemy as you can. But Hold Line and Head Hunting are little bit interesting for me. For details, just check out the website.
    • This game also has a variety of realistic maps. I can't remember how many (about 10 maybe?) and what they are, because I am still kind of new to this game, but the maps are awesome.
    • How you get in-game currency? It is similar to many other games, including Combat Arms. You play more and you will get more Gold and experience points. You can also buy Netgame currency, ncash, with our dollar-bills or credit card, to get some ncash-only items (not guns and modifications), just like in Combat Arms' Black Market.
    • The ranking system is just like military, except that you have to be a cadet before being a private.
    • The system requirements for this game is not that high, mostly similar to Combat Arms, so: everyone can play it.
    • And the LAST one, also the BEST one, the game is FREE.

Those are the features from me, you might find more later by yourself when you're playing. If you want to get it, visit the website (another link will be poted). Caution: YOU HAVE TO BE AT LEAST 18 TO PLAY.

Cheers, Enjoy the Freaking Free Game.

Every time I try to laod the game to play, it links me to it's website... which isn't what I want to do.

Any ideas as to why, and how to fix?

I've signed up for an account, but the email authentication isn't sending.  I've tried to resend it, but both emails have not reached my email (or junk email!).

    Grr.

     Hey Porter,

You have to start the game from the website, there's a "Game Start" button at the left hand side. It will have to check some updates, after that, it will start the game.

     Enjoy

    Alright, I'm all set.

In-game name is TAW_Mojo, as all TAW members should wear their tags.

Has anyone set up a clan.

I find it plays smoother than Combat Arms. Especially at respawn.
