Howdy,
Basically, I'm looking for some gaming my wife and I can do together. Let me explain.
I started playing WoW the day it came out, and I played a lot for 7 years. I got my wife into playing at some point, and we've put in a lot of hours in PvE together, sometimes with friends, but mostly just questing together or exploring. While I'm a gamer through and through, my wife is not. She enjoyed WoW's many landscapes and worlds and usually she enjoyed the challenges (and sometimes she got frustrated and didn't want to play). When she first burned out on WoW, we tried other games. We've tried a lot of others (EQ2, Rift, ESO, LOTRO, etc.), but non held her attention real long. We haven't played WoW for about 16 months.
She isn't competitive, and she isn't into twitchy stuff. What she likes the most is exploring and doing cool stuff. She loved searching for artifacts in Rift, and she liked the grappling in some zones in WoW.
So now I'm looking for something else. Is it time to go back to WoW? Is there another game she might like? Any input is welcome!

Hey there, that what should all of us end up after long time playing games, i suggest you to try wow there a lot of new staff around, and i also suggest you to try Guild wars2 its lot of fun there, maps are amazing, the system of quest is completely different and more waiting you
I used to play a Sci-Fi Based mmo called Anarchy Online. Its Free to play up to level 200. With many Add-on Expansions. This was my first mmo and is very Complex when it comes to skills and equipment and laddering gear. Its got many of the same quest features and some amazing scenery. I played it for ~ 12 years before finally breaking my addiction. At my time of leaving I had 27 Accounts of 10 chars each. I have played every profession and of every level. It recently recieved a much needed facelift and has a new graphics engine and a new starter zone. Its well worth the time to try it.
You should try Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. There are also plenty of B-Class easy MMOs out there too.
YO fellow Taw member!
2 months ago i started playing WoW after a 8 year break from the game...HOLY MOLY has the game changed for the better! so much new stuff and the game has gotten a visual upgrade to all the old stuff and the new content is very well done.
the TAW chapter in game is very helpful with grouping, questions and gear help...Tons of content with quests, dungeons and raids and even new mini games like pet battles and invasions; there is so much to relearn but i highly suggest jumping back into WoW, i personally have been enjoying it.
good luck and maybe see you in WoW
Thanks, everyone.
We're starting back up just knocking around here and there in the Shattered Isles stuff (with our 110 characters). My wife isn't much for the intensity of raiding (unfortunately!). But thanks for the tips.
(We're mainly on Argent Dawn, fwiw.) What server(s) do y'all play on most?
So from what I have been reading, I would suggest Ark: Survival Evolved pve. Plenty of things to explore, mods to add when you get board, you can tame and breed dinos, and you never sure what is going to happen when you leave your base. That would be my suggestion if you dont go back to wow!
We did try that, and while my wife liked the exploring part, she didn't like the sudden "now-you're-getting-your-butt-whipped" elements. But I got some mod (or codes??) that let me wipe creatures from the map so we could just explore. That was kinda fun. Maybe I should try to get her to take a run at that again. It's been well over a year since we tried it.

Hi there!
What about the sandbox games? Such as Skyrim, Just Cause series or GTA.
There alot of collectibles you can get from playing solo or just with very few people if you're into that. Both in the open world and lower level dungeons/raids.
