FYI GMT Isn't used anymore the world uses UTC (coordinated Universal Time) or Britain and Ireland use BST (British Summer Time) or IST. Just thought I'd throw it out there. I'm still trying to figure out what time the meeting is for me in Anchorage AK.
Time in Anchorage, AK, USA
To compare UK is currently 22:34 as I write this, which is GMT+1 at this time of year. NA events are at 00:00 GMT in summer, and switch to 01:00GMT in winter. EU is 18:00 in summer and 19:00 in winter.
UTC and GMT are the same things by the way.

yes they are the same UTC just took GMT place
GMT is a timezone (it's official standard time of certain countries, notably UK outside of summer and some european and african countries).
UTC is a time standard, no country uses it as the basis for their time, but it's used acrost the world as a co-ordinated time measure (hence the name!).
For all intents and purposes, they are interchangeable so you can use either and it won't make a blind bit of difference, but they do mean seperate things.
UK only uses BST during summer time, the rest of the year our timezone is GMT.

Too much of timezone talks here for me haha
I barely even know the 24 hour system as it is. Can we all agree that we all decide and use Central time because now I am in central time? Good idea right? Let's do that lol
If it's a scheduled event on the events calendar, as long as you have the timezone set correctly in your profile, the time shown will be correct.
