Tonight we embark the first step of electing our next Commander in Chief [CiC]

In this meeting our TFO and CC nominated the candidates they think that can run TAW for the next 2 years. This is not a simple task for them but a task with great responsibility. I believe that our CC team is strong and that all that qualify could run TAW. I know that we cannot select all as candidates as we have as TFO and CC selected 13 senior members of TAW as nominees.

In the CC vote the following 3 candidates were put forward and are now full candidates for the position of the new CiC.

I hereby am proud to announce that these 3 nominees are now the final 3 candidates for TAW

Kindoldman

Mavericksabre

Bravehardt

I have linked their dossiers in this post so you all can see what they have done for TAW and this is just a first step as in the upcoming week I am going to interview them on TeamSpeak and there will be a written response on questions they receive from me by email. These will be uploaded to our website where all of our members can read and listen to our future CiC.

The next meeting that will be done at the 24th of January at 2100 CET the candidates will select their election officers but most importantly that is the meeting where we go live on interviewing them on TS and hear from them what they are planning to do with TAW in their term as CiC.

Therefore my fellow TAW members, my advice to you all is read the responses of the written interview, listen to the recorded interview, but be here at the next CiC election meeting to hear how they respond to set questions, but also question that have been send from our members to me as election chairman.

Email can be send to tazmanian@taw.net and I will look and select some questions that at the next meeting will be asked by that member live.

With highest regards

I hope that each and every member in TAW takes the time to partake in this.  Each member has a chance to write in and ask a question for what they want to know from our future leaders.  Now is the time to make your voice heard and help shape the direction of TAW.

Remember, Electioneering is strictly forbidden.

Friendly reminder to people who have forgotten or not experienced a TAW election before. TAW takes the definition of electioneering extremely literally and handles violations very strictly so things like campaigning or even talking about the candidate with other members* are banned.

*allowed under very specific circumstances and with strict guidelines as per the rules

I would recommend everyone go over the rules for electioneering as getting caught violating them will result in you being kicked out of TAW potentially permanently.

Thanks Taz for everything, I know recently it has been an exceptionally busy time for you. Best of luck to all involved.
