AWWWWWWWWWWW I NEED A NEW PC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Life is brief. Death is forever.- FoxHole
Fox - What requirement does yours miss? You might be able to just upgrade something ... new CPU or GPU instead of a whole new box.
p.s. I know June/July is the date everyone has in mind but have a look at the ArmA 3 site , lower right. That Q4 2012 look preltty official to me.
If you look to see how the system works
Likely you will find that it doesn't.
Adapt; Adjust; Overcome.
Ah biscuits Dawks, can't a man dream!!?! I felt like they quietly made that alteration..
Ohh well, in a world where games get released too fast and half-done, we can rest assured they intend to release a well-polished and completed game. Still hoping for more footage to salivate over.
.. just pickin' a bit of lint off your uniform, Sir. ;p
I'm going to look/see if the BIS devs are keeping an ArmA3 blog. Sometimes fun to ride along as a product rolls up to the gate.
Addendum: Found! ArmA 3 development blog & reveals (86 pages ... kinda disappointing).
just finished watching all the current trailers and im kinda excited but also kinda bummed about it. the great stuff is like being able to be super sneaky. the bad thing is from what i saw is it looks like they tried to make it like a free Roam game and not like a military mission.
Wetting our appetite for some releases about progress coming soon:
The end of the post reads: "I'm really looking forward to sharing with you the results of our
development. To kick things off, we're in the process of putting
together a couple of developer's blogposts starting with sound
recordings and our field trip to Limnos. You can see the brand new
screenshots we've made available, which give a flavour of the
developments we're making. Nothing is more rewarding for us than working
and getting involved with people from the community who are as excited
about the game as we are. I look forward to keeping you informed about
our development as often as possible!"
A dev blog was released with information about sounds in Arma 3:http://www.bistudio.com/english/company/developers-blog/290-a-thing-of-beauty-gepard-gm6-lynx
and I thought we were getting an awesome German AA gun -.-
Some nifty new screen shots from A3! http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?122794-ARMA-3-development-blog-amp-reveals&p=2118291&viewfull=1#post2118291

Have a map:
Quote :This week we're set up update our official website with the very latest information about the Arma 3 campaign.
Ahead of that, here's a quick peek at the background and history of Limnos:
"Amid the events of 2033, the island was defended by a weakened
contingent of the Hellenic Air Force and Army - elements of which
successfully repelled Iranian attacks for several weeks - before
succumbing to occupation by the Iranian Armed Forces.
In the weeks and months following the Jerusalem Peace Accord of 2034,
which crystallised Iran's position in the Aegean, a small group of Greek
forces established a resistance movement, covertly backed by the United
States and Great Britain."
