there needs to be more admins for the temp servers, haveing to wait 6 to 9 hours for a admin to ban teamkillers or to restart a script crashed server is lame.

for the last 3 to 4 days there has been teamkillers on the servers that totaly spoil the game, and having TAW members come online and not be able to do anything about them...

Agreed, although it is hard to keep an admin on deck at all times

Yes and no, typically any TAW member in good standing with the rank of PFC or higher can request to have server rights to kick players to make room for other TAW members along with keeping teams balanced and so on. You would have to ask your Commanding officer, the Division staff decides this and their policy may differ.

At the current moment with the release of 1.62 and Linux support being broken things have been dis-organized and the usual system set in place for admins to ban players isn't there so the only real person that can ban is JonBons (The Server admin).

I can also ban if absolutely needed but as not being a normal admin I stay away from it unless it is absolutely required. During the morning time the second battalion are usually online but they don't have many rights because of the temp. system....... But usually during later in the evening more admins are around to kick people out...

Hopefully BIS fixes the linux binaries soon so that things can go back to normal with the old system and everything working properly...

I think that all TAW members should have the ability to utilize the kick function (after a warning or two, of course). Obviously this is not a widely accepted idea, as one person can mess it up for the rest of us. But that is just my opinion.

Brayvinn, what BraveHardt said is absolutely correct. At the rank of PFC you can request to have ingame admin access. Its much simpler than most people think.

Any one should have the Security Awareness Badge before granting amin. access.

Exactly the reason I said "Member in good standing", they have to be mature and responsible as they represent all of TAW with their actions when they admin our servers. It's not something you can give everyone the rights to, they must be honorable and fair when dealing with members and non-members alike.
