Bootcamp & DI

Hello. I am a new recruit in TAW. I was supposed to have started boot camp with my DI Ginge. After rescheduling several times, he said stonkingbyte would be contacting me. This was a few weeks ago. I was wondering who might be able to help me through the process. I will probably be needing a new DI?

What division are you applying for?

well according to the DI's assigned to him that would be ARMA 2.

Then we shall allow ArmA to handle this. I will talk with the ArmA guys and see what I can do to get you bootcamped.

Larento, I looked at your onboard status and it says your Drill Instructor is ProtoDroid. Either way i'll look for StonkingByte on teamspeak and try to help you get it sorted out.

Hello Larento, well that is odd if you have been informed that a new DI is gonna contact you and he haven't then that is indeed odd, but just to make sure have you checked your E-mail ore website for any E-mails ore messages from StonkingByte? if not then i might help you with that and get your bootcamp done :)

and also i am a DI my self for Arma division (for 2nd battalion tho), so i can help you with the bootcamp and such :)

Wow, the support is overwhelming, I thank you all. I was first assigned to ProtoDroid, who never communicated, later Ginge took his place. Then he said I would be contacted by StonkingByte, and I am still waiting for him. iitscrazychris, thank you for your help. However, since I am new here, I am not sure what the due process is and hence my post. If you are able to help me in any way, then I welcome it.

Hello Larento, seeing as you're applying to the same Division and Battalion that I am in I will get direct contact with Ginge or StonkingByte as I see them. I will post back here once I have aquired information on either of those contacts.

Support and wanting to help is awesome and allways welcome. But, seeing as most of you are going to contact the same few people, i'd suggest you leave it to the first couple of guys to actually deal with it. No one wants their emails flooded with "This guy needs help!" or getting the same conversation thrown at them in teamspeak, multiple times.

This could potentially also make a fix take more time.

I don't mind being flooded with emails saying someone needs help :)

What happened is that i said to follow the instructions in the email that stonkingbyte sent about bootcamp. We tried to do that bootcamp,I believe you were in attendance aswell, but we had to cancel because of the server lag seeing as we had to host on our personal machines. We said during that bootcamp that both stonkingbyte and I will reach out via email once the server are back up and we can begin to start running through the in-game bootcamps again.
