Q: Who gets my money?
A: If you buy general TAW
merchandise, then your contribution goes to our central fund that pays for taw.net and our teamspeak server. If you buy a
division specific item, then that division gets your contribution.
Q:
How long does the delivery take?
A: Both in EU and NA, the
delivery takes about a week. Any deviation from this is unfortunately
out of our control.
Q: How much does the delivery cost?

Q: How do I submit a design for my Division?
A: Everyone can submit a design. To submit a design for your division, there is a process you must follow. Example
- John Doe from XX-division designs an idea and produces a graphic document (following our guide which is further down the FAQ)
- John Doe sends it to his DC/DO for their approval.
- DC/DO sends it to TAWSHOP for approval. (dogstar@theartofwarfare.net)
Q: What resources do I have?
A: Go to www.taw.net, then go to the photos found in the menu: COMMUNITY
> PHOTOS > TAWShop (under site graphics). Here you will find the
TAW logo as png, and a blank shirt to present the work on.
Q: What are the specs I have to follow as a designer?
A: These specifications must be followed:
- Must have the text "The Art of Warfare" or "Artists of the Battlefield"
- Must have our url: WWW.TAW.NET or TAW.NET
- Medium suggestion from spreadshirt.com(US) / spreadshirt.net(EU)
- Front of shirt designs only (exceptions can be made)
- Delivery specifications:
Deliver 1 x PNG 24BIT with transparent background OR layered Photoshop file
Maximum size: 3000 pixels x 3000 pixels
Minimum size: 1000 pixels x 1000 pixels
Resolution (DPI): 150 (t-shirts) 400(buttons/other)
Maximum file size: 10MB
Deliver 1 x t-shirt example in JPG/PNG. Please place your design on an example blank shirt.
(Although the example shirt found in the TAWShop photo section is white, it doesn not necessary have to be that.)
Q: Can I print on the back and on the sleeves?
A: Yes you can, but each print will increase the price of the shirt with 6$-10$. We advice not putting designs on the sleeves as for this little space, it's not worth the cost.
Q: How do I avoid copyright issues?
A: Take care that the graphics you use isn't from the official fankit. These tend to be limited to websites and not t-shirt etc, unless stated otherwise. If someone else have made it, ask them for written confirmation that its ok to use it. Or create the graphics yourself, for instance by taking a screen shot of the game and use elements on it.
