New VG Division Staff

With both Billythekidd and Becmacde stepping down recently, the search began to identify their replacements.

There was plenty of interest, of which Talisac and I would like to thank everyone that took time out to talk with us. There were some very good candidates for both roles which meant it it was not an easy decision to make for either position.

However the search is over and Vanguard is now happy to announce and introduce the new Vanguard DC and DO who have taken up the challenge.

First up is Balan who has agreed to step up as the new DC of Vanguard. Balan brings with him the recent experience of spinning up Rainbow Six Siege. Whilst no spin up team is the same, that experience will be very beneficial as he gets to work with the current Vanguard horizon teams.

As his right hand to help manage these teams, Grim steps up as the new DO of Vanguard. Grim like Balan also brings prior experience as an SUL. Additionally Grim has worked with Balan previously which should help as they forge a partnership that will help launch many new teams for TAW.

For those that maybe do not know Balan or Grim we decided a short interview was in order.

Up first was Balan.

Q1.    What is the game that got you to join TAW?

A1.      Ghost Recon Future Soldier

Q2    What were your reasons for accepting the Vanguard position and what do you hope to achieve?

A2.      I love bringing people into TAW and this was the perfect fit for me as this is what Vanguard is all about bringing in new games and members. Achievements well I just hope I do a good job, although it would be nice to break a couple of Vanguard records. .

Q3    Do you have a game of choice and genre?

A3.      Right now my favourite game is The Division. At least until I get to see what Ghost Recon Wildlands brings to the table.

Q4    Anything else you want to tell the community about yourself.

A4.    I’ve been in TAW on and off since 2012 and I haven’t found a better group of people anywhere. Proud to be a member of the best Gaming Community I have ever seen. I just hope I do a good job as the DC of Vanguard Horizon. I will certainly do my absolute best. I’m not a snob so anyone is welcome to come chat. If you ever need help that's what we are here for.

A1. i started off in GRFS ( ghost recon future soldier)

Q2.    What were your reasons for accepting the Vanguard position and what do you hope to achieve?

A2.   i accepted the role because the group of guys i have the privilege to work with is great guys, and hope to learn from them, as to what i want to achieve, thats a long list, but the short is to see taw grow, and to do that is to make this a place to come to where u can have fun and to feel welcome, and to see the future leaders grow to become the best they can be and give back as i hope to do.

Q3.    Do you have a game of choice and genre?

A3.     also a big list, but MMO and strategy is my go to games, LOL and warframe seems to hold me down...for now

Q4.    Anything else you want to tell the community about yourself.

A4.      my door is always open, just to come talk to or just to put a load off, come tell me ur secrets:)
