Calling all streamers and video recorders!
Multimedia Division is in need of YOUR Division’s video clips from your best mandatories (they can be funny or hilarious!) or showcase your battalion’s skills. This is an excellent opportunity for video guru's and beginners alike across our entire Community to participate in a TAW wide event. TAW is just full of talented individuals who love to make videos and we cant wait to see the results.
Be part of TAW’s new promotional video! The best of the best will be showcased in the next TAW trailer, which will be the main commercial video on all major social media platforms. It's a great chance to show all potential and new members why they should come join YOUR division!
This will be an exciting way for Corps, Divisions, Battalions and Squads to participate in a new TAW wide event.
Here are the Rules:
The video must be made by one or multiple TAW member(s).
It must contain game play or a montage of game play (doesn't have to be the game of your division! As long as TAW has it, you're good to go!).
The length should approximately vary between 10 and 30min
It has to follow the Code of Ethics and thus may not contain any vulgar language.
Video cannot violate copyright, terms of use and/or any non-disclosure agreements. If there are any violations, the video will not be uploaded and be disqualified.
You are not required to use ingame replay editors. Any method to get the video recorded is acceptable (such as the console command in TF2, or programs as fraps).
Minimum Requirements:
1920x1080 resolution (1080p)
30fps/60fps
NO Stream Overlays
NO Personal Identification emblems/avatars
NO Music, Just raw gameplay
Teamspeak Audio is OK.
If the videos are unedited, feel free to send the entire file with a timestamp (Example: 1hr:10min:35sec - 1hr:10min:59sec) to indicate the clip you want showcased. If the timestamp is not included in the email, your video will not be considered.

It’s Summertime! (In the northern hemisphere anyway). 2020 has been a doozy so far, and along with everything else it has brought us until now I believe most of us can agree on one thing:

The warm weather is here, and with that it means one thing….camping season. Over in North America, camp grounds and trailer parks are beginning to reopen and I can already smell that sweet smokey smell of firewood cracking in the evening as I sit around the campfire making smores, roasting hotdogs, and being eaten alive by mosquitos.

For those who are not familiar with the MMD our goal is to make sure that things are running smoothly in regards to Social Media, TAW-Wide Events, Video Development, The PIA Corps as well as a wide range of multimedia projects.

For the Social Media Team Members, we are looking for somebody who is familiar with Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit). A few skills that are beneficial to the position would be writing skills, a willingness to learn and an enjoyment of gaming.
For the TAW Streaming / Video department, we are looking for somebody who have previous experience either within video editing or recording. If you join our streaming department, your work will be hosting workshops for members who wish to start streaming, as well as helping our members with any questions towards streaming, settings or require general help with broadcasting softwares like OBS Studio and streamlabs OBS.

TAW SHOP. Over the last few years, you’ve probably noticed an increase in our promotional advertising for our products and each sale we’ve brought to you has been based on what our current supplier has delegated as our “current promo”, whether it’s been free shipping or a % off purchase/specific product, we at the Shop have always strived to listen to our members and tailor our product listing to what they want.
One thing that we’ve been constantly asked for, is E-Sport Jersey’s, a product which our current supplier does not carry. So our Shop Team was sent into the depths of the interwebs, each armed with the knowledge of what TAW Members have been asking for, each determined to find the best quality apparel for our loyal and dedicated members. As you can see, yes, the cost of the products are indeed higher than that of our current supplier, but that is because the potential supplier brings much higher quality of apparel to the table. Shop would also like to point out that both companies charge a shipping rate. While our current supplier all depends on the product, how much you spent, and which shipping option you chose. The potential supplier has a set price, after the item is manufactured, they ship it with priority service.
The reason we’re bringing this to show you, the members of TAW is because people have been asking for better quality apparel, e-sport jersey’s, and wanting to put their Gamer Tag on their clothing but have no idea how. With the potential supplier, you get to select your size (generally good to go 1 size up for comfort fit), automatically have a spot to add your Gamer Tag (It goes on the back), and select the country you’re in. So for example, I could have an E-Sport Jersey with Rekon, The Canadian Flag, and proudly showing off my pride in TAW.
This is an investment for our Gaming Community. And we need to make sure this transition is worth it. So we need you, the TAW Members, to please fill out our Shop Supplier Change Form. This will allow us to know if we should move forward with this change. If we do not, we will remain with our current supplier.
