Hey everyone!

I announced about two weeks ago that we are launching our TAW-Wide Discord server. As we are very proud of getting this where it is and as a thank you for everyone providing feedback, we decided to hand out a Discord-Launch Tab on the website and a special role on the Discord server to anyone who joins the Discord server by 18th of July and changes their Discord nickname to their full TS tag!

That's right, we're back with another recruitment post.  Recently there was a change in command for MID, with that, we decided to revert back to a name everyone would recognize, MultiMedia Division [MMD].  

We're still working on our base platform and how things will be run in the future, but we're going to take a moment to share with some it the changes right now.

• Streamlined: Our TeamSpeak Channels are now streamlined to make it easier to know who to go to for posting/questions.  We have distributed the responsibilities to 3 Battalions, depending on what services you need.
• PIA Relations: Training & Ongoing support for PIA's
• Video Productions: If it has to deal with streaming, recruitment videos, video editing; then these are the members to talk to.  If it's YouTube or Twitch Related, it's their department.
• Moderators: If you need something posted on one of our Social Media Platforms (aside from Twitch or YouTube), then message a member here.
• Forms will be easier to find: We're going to centralized all forms in our TeamSpeak Channels coming up, so no more trying to play "Where's Waldo?" with forms.

Our TeamSpeak Channels should be edited by mid-month.  We're still working on updating the forms.

We want to help each and every division have their voice heard on our various social media platforms, which means we're also encouraging each division to get a PIA, look into streaming, record some videos and have us put together a montage or recruitment video for you, and more.  MMD TFO's will start making rounds to divisions soon, introducing ourselves, and starting to talk to your teams on how we can help you.

But in order for us to help in a more timely fashion, we need more staff.  We are looking for both EU and NA Members to join our Team.  Here's the slideshow we put together to show what we're about and what we're looking for.

Hear ye, hear ye,

TAW University Division (TU) now  has a specialized Battalion focused on - you guessed it - recruiting! With the increase in dedicated teams and therefore staff, we're more than able to support- and increase the number of Training Instructors (TIs) in TU. While the Recruitment Batt. will focus on further developing DI, HDI, PIA and other recruitment related subjects, the other TU Batt. will focus themselves more or NCO and BATCOM related stuff. However, that is a priority and at the end of the day everyone remains a 'TU member' and share the same overarching office of TAW University.

In TU, you will be responsible for holding position classes for members of TAW, and will also have the chance to help develop current and future leadership of TAW as a whole, by helping to develop leadership tools, skills and traits necessary for effective leadership in the community.

As a TI, you can also develop an understanding of other roles within TAW you may not be as familiar with, and in time help deliver classes on those roles.

TU isn't just about delivering classes. While in TU, you will interact with a variety of different games and divisions; meet new people; and learn about other areas within TAW you might not have seen.

Requirements:

• 6 months active in TAW (minimum)

• Held a NCO (SL, PL) or Senior Staff Position (HDI, TS etc.) or higher

• Good working knowledge of Google services (docs, spreadsheets, drive etc.)

• Good working knowledge of TAW Policy & Code Of Ethics

• A willingness to learn & develop as a leader

• Must be a teamplayer

Hello everyone,

As some of you are aware Phoenix has dissapeared! Just kidding, we have been given the oppertunity to serve TAW up in Operations! Why you ask? Well the role Phoenix plays for TAW fits Operations Command better and allows us to partner and work with other Operations Units more smoothly. We are absolutely excited to team up with Operation CC and CLC, MRC CC and CLC, COMMS, ER, GRAPHICS, MID, and Shop. We look forward to working with you all and seeing what positive impact we can have on all of TAW.

In regards to our Phoenix Hub or any projects we have been working on with the Divisions in Army, nothing changes there. We will still be contacting you every month, sharing informations, giving advice, and most importantly there to help you all with anything you need. Our missions in Phoenix has not changed and we are still the Phoenix you all love and cherish. Please if you have any questions about the move or concerns about things changing come talk to us, we don’t bite. Or do we? I guess you will have to find that one out!

As you can see my team here at Phoenix is rearing to go and we are always looking to improve our community for you! The members! Being moved up here into Operations allows us to better serve you in a place where a more unified approach can be had. We look forward to working with everyone here in Operations as well as serving our most loyal members! You, the members of TAW.

It has been in the pipeline for a while and many of you were already able to join it: it is a pleasure for me to announce that we are launching our TAW-Wide Discord server!

This will act as an addition to your already existing divisional Discords to give everyone in the community a place to come together, get to know each other and break through the never ending list of teamspeak channels.

In addition to the social aspect of the server, it also acts as a central news hub for all TAW-related content. We have set up a selection of announcement channels that your discord server can subscribe to, which will enable all of your divisional discords to easily receive the latest updates about our community!

Currently, there wont be any voicechat on the Discord server, Teamspeak will stay our main platform for this.

Also special thanks are going out to Arianni and Deathwing who have been doing some essential work to get the project up and running as it is today!
