Palworld is an upcoming action-adventure, survival, and monster-taming game developed and published by Japanese studio Pocket Pair. Set in an open world called Palpagos Islands, the game features animal-like creatures known as “Pals”. Players can battle and capture these Pals for base building, traversal, and combat. The game’s unique premise involves using firearms and equipping Pals with them, earning it the nickname “Pokémon with guns”. Additionally, players can assign Pals to bases for automated tasks.
Palworld can be played solo or with up to 32 players online. It launched in early access for Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in January 2024. The game combines third-person shooter gameplay, monster hunting, and base management.

As we have mentioned during earlier blog posts, we have been working on a rework of the front end in TAW 3.0 for quite some time. We are happy to share some of the progress we have made in this regard with all of TAW. In this blog post we’ll only show the pages accessible by regular members, the admin pages will follow in a later post. Keep in mind that these designs are still a work in progress and some things will still change.
