Red Orchestra 2: Hero’s of Stalingrad is the sequel to the original Red
Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45. In this sequel to the original World War 2 First
Person Shooter you will participate in the bloodiest battle in history, the
battle for the city of Stalingrad. This is because in this edition to the
series you will play as both German and Russian during furious fighting in real
locations within the city while using realistic weaponry and vehicles used during
the battle between July 1942 to February 1943.

What does Red Orchestra 2 offer?

Red Orchestra 2 offers highly addictive and varied game play from brutal
close-quarter firefights to more elaborate and ranged combat, while
still offering a realistic and authentic feel for the battle for Stalingrad.

Game Modes:

Territory Mode - is the original gamemode based off original games famous
Attack, Hold and Defend objectives within the set timelimit, or until one side
runs out of reinforcements.

Countdown Mode: Countdown mode is a total new concept to Red Orchestra
2 in which you have single life to assault, defend or eliminate the enemy team
within a set time limit. If the attacks complete the objective then they
everyone then re-spawn and it moves onto the next objective in the series. This
continues till the attackers either win and complete all objectives in the
series or until the defenders eliminate the enemy team at which point they
switch sides.

Firefight Mode - has everyone favourite relaxed game play mode team
death-match which had a very interesting twist compared to the other game modes,
in that it does not have any class restrictions.

Cover System

The game also includes an easy to use and dynamic first person cover
system which provides the ultimate experience which allows, from total
immersion in first person view. Peek or blind fire over and around cover and
more.

Squad Command

The squad command experience allows players to take control of the full
tactical situation allowing them to issues commands to their fire teams and
squads on the battlefield using an easy to use system. Moreover, it allows them to call in their necessary
artillery and support to lead their units to victory or defeat.

Tanks and Weapons Realism

Red Orchestra offers a realistic infantry and tanking experience. All
WW2 weapons ingame have true to life ballistics, bullet penetration, breathing,
adjustable sights, free aim, weapon bracing, photo-real graphics and more,
creating WWII Infantry that has no equal. Furthermore, Red Orchestra 2 is raising
the bar with its redefining tanking experience. All tanks and vehicles in Red
Orchestra 2 have a authentic virtual interior with complex damage systems that
allows you to the see the guy sitting next to you die while in the tank. You
will never feel less safe while in a tank!
