DirtyBomb is now called Extraction, and the closed beta sign up is available here: http://extraction.nexon.net/teaser/
It looks like it has similar mechanics to QW, hopefully TAW will have a vanguard division in this game.
I'm in the closed alpha for Et, and the game is looking pretty good. For a game in this stage, it's actually a really neat one. Closed beta is scheduled for October 1, but whether that is a firm date I don't really know.
October 1st...BF4 beta and this? Gonna be a busy day for me!
How does it compare to ET:QW?
Honestly I do not know, having never played it. Extraction is the first SD game that I have been involved in really. However, I will have to say that the closed alpha is actually decently good, better than what I had envisioned for an alpha game. So if you haven't done so, go register yourself for the beta access coming October 1st.
Without violating the NDA, I can say that it plays similarly to ET / ET:QW, but there is a bit of a difference in terms of how you select your available "merc's" and what objectives they are effective against.
Haven't played all too much of DB/Extraction, so going off of memory...

All mercs can do all the objectives, but some are a bit faster or better than others. So there is a bit of choosing and picking in term of selecting who to play as.
For those of you with Extraction Closed Alpha access...the closed beta is now live. So you should be able to migrate your account to Nexon's side now. I got my game installed and all, gotta wait til later to play. Also, the closed beta invitations for the general public will likely be sent out in a couple days.
Just a head up/FYI.
