Our Gracious CO Constance has been struggling ever since we switch to A3. His old rig just wasn't doing it anymore, maxing out at 12fps in most situations and dropping as low as 1-8 in heavy fighting. We decided to fix this and upgrade his PC. While i was able to salvage a good portion of what he had, He would still need a new Mobo/CPU/GPU/PSU. Not only that, but he also needed someone to to the rebuild. Currently in my Boston work room is Constance's PC, shipped from Texas, Next to the box of parts we ordered from newegg, and his discounted 7970 and 750 Watt Tough power from my parts bin. This is a chronology of the PC's Resurrection from pile of outdated rumpus, to a lean mean gaming machine.
Help me SaltyJ....Help meeee! Cryed Constance's PC, which i have aptly named stubby McGee
This should be fun to watch!

Here are the lovely new parts waiting to be installed.
Brand New:
I5 3570k A new heart for the beast.
I will OC this to a respectable 4.2 GHZ and keep it cool with an Idle temp of about 32c and a load temp of around 45-50.
ASRock B75M And a new backbone to hold it all together.
Not the most amazing motherboard, but as these two parts came out too $100 cheaper then the highest tiered AMD processor while maintaining %20 percent more compute power...its a good budget bare bones platform.
SaltyJ's Part Bin Where the good parts go not to die, but to await a worthy owner.
I sold him a Gigabyte Whisper Cool 7970 OCed into a 7970HGZ. This card normally retails for $400-$500 so he was more then willing to part with $150 for the part.
To help him along i am replacing his 650 Watt PSU with a Corsair750w TXHW free of charge...because you know...constance's beard demands the best for less
A quick observational note.
Constance's PC smells like Bubblegum and Dryer Sheets.....
That's a first for me as the mostly smell like Cigarette Smoke/Old People/Cat Urine.
That PSU looks like a VHS tape...
CPU, Ram and cooler installed on mobo.
Now this is what a properly cooled Stack looks like.
All together, now to power it on.
Oh...Forgot to mention the paint job.....so Constance always remembers where hes from.
Sweet build! Glad to hear he's getting his computer upgraded!

Just tested on his newly installed system. He is getting between 49-60 fps on load screen / Editor with heavy weather on altis / TAW PO3 Pub server with High/Ultra settings. Much better than the 8-25 he was getting.
Huzzah for TAW
Wow, nice work. Nice window work as well.
Pretty cool!
