I am in the process of building a new computer for the case mod contest at QuakeCon 2015. This will be my third time at entering the contest and probably my last for a while. Each build takes months of research, planning and building from start to finish. I started this build in September and hope to have it done by July 1st. The contest is on July 23rd.
My first build (QuakeCon 800D) used vinyl tubing and my second build (Toxic Envi) utilized acrylic tubing. This build will use the next step ... copper tubing.
Here is a shot of the first copper section that was just completed.
I will post a shot of this build when it is completed.
Wow! Looking like an intense amount of work. Should be worth it though
Very nice!
All copper tubing sections have been cut and bent for the GPU and CPU loops.
The sections will be taken to a chrome plating shop on Monday.

If you have not already done the purchase on the m.2 drive, have you considered upgrading to a SM951 or an intel 750 instead of the 941? Also, which OS do you plan on installing?
Another suggestion, if possible, could the 980s be upgraded to 980Ti's or will the water blocks not fit?
I already have the XP941 installed on the motherboard.
I have purchased the 400GB Intel 750 PCI-e drive. With a sequential read of 2.2GB/s and write of 900MB/s, this card will probably be my boot drive.
I will be installing Windows 8.1 Pro for now. Once Windows 10 becomes available on July 29th, then I will be upgrading to it.
The system has nearly 1.5TB of SSD storage and 4TB of HDD storage.
The water blocks for the 980 will not fit the 980Ti's. The EK Titan X blocks will fit the 980Ti cards. The performance of two 980 cards in SLI will fit my gaming requirements.
The copper tubes, pump covers, and front grill have all been chromed and fit into the system. Performed leak testing on Saturday and the system performed perfectly, with no leaks detected after 7 hours of continuous running.
Now working on wiring the system.
