I have been playing Magic the Gathering since 1994

I have amassed around 16,000 cards - WOOOHOOO

But recently I have moved house and there is nowhere to play MTG :0  - OH NO!!!

So, I have picked up the MTGO client and paid my good money.

I must admit - it is all a bit overwhelming - I guess as MTG might be at first.

I am looking for an MTGO Mentor - someone who can show me the ropes and help me with decks ETC.

If that person is you, please get in contact with me on Stealth@TAW.net

Thank you

Stealth

Hey Stealth,
I might have someone in WW division who knows this. If he does he will contact you.

You know the rules of Magic (after that amount of time) so feel free to grab me in TS if you need some help with the UI.  I'll mostly be loitering in the RP division lobby.

A great way to learn what kinds of decks fit your play style, the Magic games on Steam can be very helpful. Granted, the content isn't anywhere near updated but that's not terribly important for learning, both, the basics and mastering the mechanics. A huge part of Magic is to play a kind of deck that suits you best. There are a lot of different kinds of decks.

Also, a good way to learn or see play styles in action is to watch a series on Youtube called Spellslingers.
