Hello Star Citizens. Their are a lot of exciting things that has been promised to us. The next big update is going to be Star Marine, and some time before the end
of the year 3.0 will go live. 3.0 will be the biggest update of the year. Some of the features that 3.0 will have are : Flying from space to planets without any loading zones: landing and getting out of you ship and walking on planets: and a real quests. Last year they said that Squadron 42 would launch sometime this year. However, I have heard nothing about it since last year. For those that don't know Squadron 42 is the single player/co-op version of Star Citizen.
With all that being said citizen con is coming up this weekend. Last year for citizen, Star Citizen was still in spin up, and we all got together to watch the live stream.
Even though Star Citizen is not a division anymore, I would like to invite everyone to come and watch with us. I will create a channel 1 hour before the event and It will be named Star Citizen Citizen Con. It will be at the top of Team Speak. I will add they put on great show last year, and I expect something even better this year. It wouldn't surprise me if they don't announce the release of Star Marine. The event is on Sunday, October 9 at 3pm PDT (10pm GMT)

It looks like a lovely game. I watched some of the stuff from the con the other day as I've a friend who currently works on the game. Tempted to pick it up but my system probably wouldn't handle it.

Hi there, picked up Star Citizen a couple of weeks ago and was wondering if TAW still supports this game.I played some of the 2.5 but since 2.6 is on the PTU Im having some trouble with my account( no ships in dock, invisible character etc.) but should be resolved when all get to update to 2.6.
Had to take a time out from TAW about 18 months ago as real life came first, but it would be fun to play some games with you guys again, now that I have abit more time on my hands. Hope to hear some soon.
I'm hoping that TAW will revive the SC division at some point as if I'm right(correct me if I'm wrong) TAW once had SC division. I joined TAW couple of months ago (Rainbow Six Siege) and I'll probably move to SC division once it's launched as SC will be probably be my "main" game after 3.0. So here's to hoping for the revive of SC Division! :)
I was a CO in the SCZ spin up team. The reason it was disbanded is because there wasn't and still isn't enough overall content in the game to recruit dedicated members as well as keeping those members. Events were sometimes difficult to get setup due to the many issues and bugs in the Alpha as well. A future spin up when more content is available is a definite in my opinion.
