So..Hello All. Since the 25-07-2017 my game stopt liking me. After i attempt to join a map the game says NO....no not YOU.  ( map loading 100% it crashes ).  Naturally i have reported this to AFT support but here comes the frustrating part, it takes for ever for them to respond. And not knowing WHY it is not working s*** tbh.

So that why i opend this Post ( i realy hope this is the right place for this post ).

So the error log says ;  02:45:58.409|Error|Default|KeyNotFound parentkey: ***************************| |

I hope some one can tel me why my game dont like me no more.

Best regards  Madhara

It might be a problem with your video card.

2 Options:

1: Have you tried updating your drivers for the video card?  is it Nvidia? They released a new update a few days ago.

2: If options 1 is "Yes i have updated my video card", try to rollback the driver and test it out.

It might solve your problem!

Hi!

Please also post your system specs (CPU, GPU, RAM at least) and if your game is installed on an SSD or HDD. This might help track the issue down.

Ok, i can see that you rely on AMD for the most part, so that might be the issue. At this point in time, EFT has more issues with AMD than intel or nvidia, and a lot of people have complained about it. It is a known issue that will hopefully be improved with BETA.

Other than that, 8gb of RAM is cutting it pretty close. That is the stated minimum requirement, but currently there are times when the game eats upwards of 13gb for me when running.

I would advise, firstly, to wait for the BETA update, as that will bring some optimizations. If after that you still crash, i would advise getting more RAM but this is not a guaranteed fix.

On a side note, you can also try posting on the official Tech Support forum for EFT. They tend to be a bit faster in helping you than submitting a support request through the main website, and have more experience with this type of issue.

You can find it here:

8gb Ram will be a problem with the game as if you imagine that Windows 10 will be using a minimum of 2gb. That only leaves you with 6gb. So yes, buying more ram will make the game run and load more smoothly.

But, I don't think that this will be the cause of your problem.  Have you tried uninstalling the game and then re installing it? It might be a game file that has become corrupted, also I would run a anti virus and debugging program.

With regards to drivers, I would make sure everything up to date. Depending on when you installed the latest drivers, as above, roll them back to the previous version via system recovery or uninstalling and getting older drivers from websites.

Next, have you tried rubbing the game in administration mode?

Ja..so... the game stop working again soon after my last reply. ( 29-07-2017)

So now i am buying some more RAM and now i am a bit undetermined what to get. Do i buy 2x4 GB and then have a total of 16GB oder do i buy 2x8 and then have a total of 24GB ? And my largest problem is that my PC knowledge = 0 .

I have in my pc now ;

G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3- 1.866 MHz.

But the ones i have foud at Amazon are 1.600 MHz. Is that going to be a problem? Or can i buy dos?

I would research your motherboard to see what it can take. Then buy a new set.

I had the same problems the first two days with the game freezing when getting to 100% map load. What i did was uninstall the launcher and delete ALL eft files. I also did a driver update to 17.7.2 (i have the RX480 as well). This fixed the problems for me and game has been good since.

You can reinstall of the game here http://www.escapefromtarkov.com/profile.
