There I was, enjoying a casual game of Heroes and Generals when just like not paying your electric bill, everything went dark. Microsoft in its infinite wisdom decided to rush a bundle of patches to address the "Spectre and Meltdown" vulnerabilities of processors. With the focus on Intel they failed to correctly apply these patches to most AMD owners. Add Ryzen 5 chips to the list.
After many grueling and irritating hours researching the bane of my computer's problem I found out I'm not alone:

I built this computer in October and was very confident that this was not a hardware issue. Nonetheless I ran as many tests as I know to make sure. I have an awesome build, after I ran my tests. Kudos to me. Whatever Microsoft did was bad. For shame.
The "stop code: inaccessible boot device" appeared in my BSoD.
Anyone with AMD processors take heed and backup any data on your HDD/SSD with your OS. Keep an ISO handy too. There's no way to even restore, or at least mine failed. I went NUCLEAR on it and started over. I'm glad I have a separate drive for data and the OS. I recommend it for all. Go get a cheap 64GB SSD just for your OS. Use TB HDDs for the rest unless you can afford M.2 or PCI storage.
If you have Win 10 Pro block auto update download/installation. Can't do this on Home version. Also recommend to get Win 7/10 Pro.
Farewell and Adieu

Hi, This is the update for the meltdown security fix that does this. I know had a AMD at work that did this.
Its because windows is not being picky on updates whether its intel or amd its just installing all updates.
Thanks
