Hows every one finding Star Citizen with latest 3.7 patch
Ok, I'm getting pretty interested in this game. When I go to the site and start trying to learn everything it seems overwhelming. What does the 72 months of insurance do? Does it replace a ship if destroyed? Do you have to pay with in game currency after the 72 months? I'm sure those answers are somewhere on that site, but thought I'd ask here.
It can be overwhelming at times, Pop into the Vanguard room and we can try and help you with any questions. For now - The 72 months represent 72 Months of in game time at game launch so you have a little time now to not worry, now there is a lot off speculation on how to insurance system will work but for now in the alpha all you need do is to go the ship terminal and claim it back and wait for the claim to come in or pay a little aUEC's to reduce the timeframe you have to wait.
So we have 2 new recruitment threads up things are moving nicely along in SC Spin Up

This is my report on the Cyclone race event last night.
Alley and I were on early, and we scouted ahead for a suitable track. We chose a point-to-point race on Cellin, from Tram & Myers Mining to Hicks Research Outpost. The track looked reasonably clear from the air, so we flew to Hicks, where we started spawning Cyclones, using the terminal in the small blue building. I found that if I carefully angled the Cat against a steep hill, it was possibly to simply drive the Cyclones directly into the loading bays. The front bay was less usable, as the guns at the front prevented it getting close enough to the ground. It's possible that unequipping the guns would have made this work, but that's an experiment for another day. Alley carefully parked two Cyclones onto his Connie, and he was good to go. Xhaust joined us at this point, his was the fourth and final Cyclone onboard the Cat, and he flew with me when we went to the start point.
Tram & Myers was not much more than a shack and a couple of mining pumps. It's full description reads "This mining facility is the registered property of Tram & Myers Mining Corp.", which tells you everything you need to know. It served its purpose as a starting point well enough, and we lined up the Cyclones ready to race. We had at least one of every kind, so we did manage to test out the turret on the TR variant, and the cargo storage on the base variant. Most impressive was the Cyclone-AA, with its powerful and visually-striking EMP. This EMP was not allowed during the race, as it had the ability to completely disable the other vehicles, and this was a weapons-free friendly race.
Alley chose to race from the finishing line to the start point, and Xhaust, Q-Skills and myself lined up at the start. The signal was given, and we set off. It was at this point that we realised that the course on the ground was much harder to navigate than it appeared from the air, and that this was going to be more a war of attrition than a race.
Q-Skills was first to crash, he flipped his buggy. Only seconds later, I hit a rock and ended up jammed. Xhaust graciously agreed to come back and free us, he managed to ram my buggy off the rock and back onto its wheels. We set out to find Q-Skills, but as we were coming towards him, he died and was out of the race. Meanwhile, Alley was making steady progress towards us. Xhaust and I turned back towards him, but the low gravity was a real challenge, and we both crashed again a few minutes. This time I lost a wheel, while it was Xhaust's turn to end flipped. As we were only about 100m apart, I jumped out of my disabled buggy and made my way towards him, only to see him die, just as Q-Skills had done. Then more bad race news came in - Alley had also lost his vehicle! Disaster!
Alley and I took stock of our situation - I was 7km from our ships, and he was another 7km further out. Over rough terrain and on foot, this was a dangerous and isolating position to be in. We decided to run towards each other, if only to die together. I don't know how many minutes that run took, but it was long and arduous, with only the pale light of Crusader and our flashlights to guide us. Eventually we found each other, and there was much jumping for joy! To be alone on that rock was terrible, and it was a blessed relief to meet a teammate.
Together, we raised a radio signal to Q-Skills, who by now was flying his Cutlass out amongst the stars. He found our location, and jumped in and picked us up. The race had ended as a rescue mission, but it was a great learning experience none-the-less.
By the way. Is that a Avenger landed on a Starfarer in the last picture? xD
Operations - ISC
The latest patch to PTU has some really interesting changes there’s some proper FP missions, visual indicators of where turret gunners on your ship are aiming, and cannons have been nerfed.
Destructor, you’ll be pleased to hear you can’t get stuck in prone position any more as well!
Proper FPS missions I mean, sorry am on mobile
Yep that is a Avenger on top of the Starfarer :)
This will probably be the first game in history not to release due to making to much money before releasing. Read a review basicly pointing all this out.
Hopefully this review is false
I personally think the development is starting to noticeably speed up, and I’m becoming more confident they’re going to release, and it’s going to be big, like World of Warcraft big.
I might be wrong :)
Game has picked up pace this year a lot and we will be getting a road map for the next 12 months soon so big things are happening. I cant wait for the new flight model.
The new 3.4 patch will be live in the next week or so whos looking forward for the new Zone on Lorevil
Reminds me of the film Riddick Pitch Black
Some reason picture is small but the Rocks remind me of the film :)
