Superbrio here, former CO of farcry 2 division a loooong time ago, after an absence from gaming for a few years about a year or so ago i came back to gaming with my son. We have been playing Arma 3 on the TAW EU server for many months, a great server and we've been having a lot of fun, that is until a few days ago a guy came on the server and kept taking the commanders slot, which gave him control of the permissions ingame, for two days we asked him to give permissions or move out of the commanders slot.
Yesterday when we came onto the server again he was in the slot and again he would not move or give permissions,so I thought it would be a long shot but id go onto the forums here and ask for help.
After trying to remember my login details :) i came to this forum and asked for some help, after a few minutes i got a reply from warlohn , after telling him my story he directed me to and kindly supplied me with the ts password, login on I forgot I had no permissions to move channels ( gone were the days when I had so much permissions :( ) anyway warlohn came to the rescue again, he came on ts went down the channels and talked to icebones who very kindly moved me down to his channel to help.
After explaining my problem to him he called in mercers the server admin and he got to work helping me out, within a few minutes he logged on to the server and VERY NICELY moved the guy out of the slot.
So to sum up, in the space of half an hour I was able to log on to the website, then to forums and then to ts, and my problem was solved, I have to say nothing in TAW has changed, a group of really helpfull people going out of their way to solve problems.
SO a big thank you to the 3 guys who helped out an old member, Thank you all.

Nice to see you still alive and great to hear from you once again. Great to hear you are passing down your passion for gaming to your son "Homer". Hey homer good to hear from you too, how are things in the old folks home, do they let you play on the pc 😂😂? Little "Homer" now kicks his dad's ass at most games these days, my old reflexes are no match for his. Yeah I really miss playing fc2 with you and all the old crew as well, to this day I still haven't found a game that gives as much fun and challenge that fc2 gave. Enjoying playing arma 3,and playing on the TAW server, I feel like I'm keeping some kind of link to the old TAW days.
Has the farcry division gone, is Sharky still around?
