Hello all,

I just wanted to let you all know that if you are heading somewhere in life, here in TAW you do have the opportunity.

Today, i got offered a job as CEO for a company here in Norway, and in my interview, they asked about TAW and what i do here.

They saw that i put TAW on my resume, and when they started asking about it, i showed all of my certifications, positions and our code of ethics.

Based on everything within TAW and my IRL experience, they asked me if i wanted this position and be in charge of a company selling eletronic equipment, so i encourage you all to take those classes, seek a opportunity, and grow you Division to the fullest of quality.  It WILL benefit you in real life.. trust me!

I got the opportunity, and you will too.  just believe in yourself, believe in your positions, and seek guidance within your division. Grow as a leader and make TAW the best community out there.

Personally, i want to shoutout some great TAW members helping me on the way: Cherry, Kingcheese, Talisac, Dreamus, Caaran, Bravehardt, Sloan, DOC and Subrat.. without you, i would not have this opportunity.  But you all directed me in the way i needed to go, both good and bad.  Because of you, i developed to the human being i was supposed to be.

TAW! We are here as a family. let us now help eachother, and develop as the gaming community we are!  There are 8 billion people in this world, and 40% of those people are looking for TAW.

I love you all!

Good stuff man, so many people over the years have come to me with a very similar story where their experiences in TAW, the good, the bad and the ugly, had contributed to their growth as a person and a leader helping them to get the dream position they had always wanted.

It's not always easy or pretty for that matter but, the skills acquired through true servant leadership with serve you well in real life.

Congratulations Red.

And I agree, there is so much of what we learn here in TAW that can carry over to the real world.  Because of the way our CoE & Policies are set up, they help shape us into better people.

Best of luck with the new job.

A bit like me, well apart from being offered the job as a CEO of an electronics firm.

I currently volunteer with our local housing association, however they have asked me about TAW as well, and according to the Social Inclusion Manager and the Volunteer Co-ordinator, they are looking at putting me with a company that does pop-up youth clubs and such to mentor kids and young adults through multimedia and IT.

I know this is only a volunteering position at the moment, but the firm are still on about taking me on full time after my stint as a volunteer ends. So all I can say is thank you TAW, you are truly a wonderful community to belong too and you have certainly helped me.

Congrats on the new RL job, Redsword!

I hope more of our junior members will take advantage of the knowledge and training one can get here in TAW as a Servant Leader and realize those same skills can carry over to and create RL opportunities.
