Hello everyone,

Hope you are doing well, thought I would share two tips and tricks that might not be always apparent with TeamSpeak Smile If you have any of your own feel free to comment with them.

Here we go:

  1. Chat history
    Per default TeamSpeak won't log your text message history, ever been there were you close a conversation and it's gone the next time you are looking for it? Well good news, if you go to:

    TeamSpeak -> Tools -> Options -> Chat

    In here you can find the options to modify what you chose to log in terms of channel messages and private messages on your local TeamSpeak Client.

  2. MyTeamSpeak Account
    This account allows you to carry your data from one device to another or maybe more importantly a mobile device. It stores the information through the account like for example a TeamSpeak token. Tired of having to reset it when you switch device well? No problem this will work great for you then Smile

    I don't have a step by step guide for this as it was a long time since I did it but if I remeber correctly it was just logging in and connecting the account with the permission token on the main device and then logging in on the secondary.

I got another tip for the permissions:

If you don't have a "myTeamSpeak"-account and don't want to drop your permissions after switching the PC you can export your ID.

Tools -> Identities -> Local Identities -> Right-click your identity -> Export

With the other/new pc you can just import the file and select the identity. Done.

Make sure you never share this file ;)
