Hey guys just wanted to revive this chat so I made a new one! I love talking about rigs and building! So I'll post mine! Although I usually build my own this go around I got mine custom built for me from a veteran owned company out of Fort Bragg NC! 

 

Here are the specs:

 

CPU: Intel I9 9900KF

RAM: 32GB MUSHKIN REDLINE 3200

CPU COOLER: 240MM ARTIC AIO LIQUID FREEZER II

MOBO: GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS PRO LGA1151 with WiFi

GPU: ASUS GeForce 2080TI O11G Dual fan OC Edition

Storage: 1tb nvme ssd 3 tb HDD 7200RPM

That is one cool looking side panel. You don't see many cases that have something printed on the glass itself and i kinda like the idea. I plan on building a new rig when the next series RTX cards come out and i may have to consider doing something similar.

GPU: Gigabyte RTX2060

Mobo: Gigabyte z370p d3

Storage: 120GB Kingston SSD (Boot Drive) | 1TB WD HDD 7200RPM | 1TB Sabrent Rocket NVMe

Case: Aerocool Aero-500 Midi Tower

Here's my current build. Just swapped cases so it's all nice and pretty :D 

 

First pic is the window side [I'm a Japanese Sticker collector so some of my nicer ones are on here ;) ]

---Main Build---

OS: Windows 10 Home OEM

CPU:  Ryzen 5 2600 @ 3.7Ghz, turbo's to 4.1

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 6GB 

RAM: 16GB Dual Channel  @ 3200Mhz

Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX X470-I ( Recently swapped from an old Cyberpowerpc Micro ATX case)

Storage: 500gb SSD, 1TB HDD & 2TB HDD (Second is for video storage)

Case: Phanteks Eclipse P300A 

--Peripherals --

Keyboard: HyperX Alloy - Cherry MX Blues

Mouse: Logitech G203 for standard gaming, Kensington Orbit Trackball mouse for smooth panning while shoutcasting

Monitors: 1st is a curved 27" 1080p panel running at 100hz, 2nd panel to the side is a 24" 1080p panel running at 144hz.

VR: Oculus Rift CV1 with three sensors for partial room tracking

 

-Audio Setup-

Shoutcasting/Teamspeak/VR: Presonus Audiobox 96 -> AudioTechnica BPSH-1

 

All other audio: 3.5mm to TRS -> Behringer Microamp Ha400 out Line 1to my Kenwoon VR-7070 Receiver -> Bose 301 Series II Bookshelf Speakers

Line 2 is the beyerdynamics DT990's

Line 3 is Phillips SHP9500
Line 4 is left open for anything else ( another set of cans probably lol)

 

_Sim-Rig setup_

Base: Thrustmaster T300 with the Ferrari 458 GTE rim

Pedals: TM ( Thrustmaster) T3PA- Pro's mounted vertically

Shifter: TM TH8-A

Handbrake: Ebay style USB Handbrake

You basically have the same CPU and GPU as me. If I may ask how do you use an application to overclock your CPU? I was thinking of doing mine but I think for now I just have the "gaming" mode which I have set on my BIOS.

If you also have a 2600X you can monitor it and tweak your system with Ryzen Master in Windows.
