Valorant

Valorant is a new tactical shooter from Riot Games. The game has 10 unique agents that have their own abilities that add layers of tactics to each round. Valorant takes inspiration from both CSGO and Overwatch, combining the best of both!

GAMEPLAY

Two teams of five play against each other, players assume the role of "agents" with unique abilities and use an economic system to purchase their abilities and weapons. In the main game mode, the attacking team has a bomb, called the Spike, that they need to plant on a site. If the attacking team successfully protects the Spike and it detonates, they get a point. If the defending team successfully defuses the Spike, or the 100-second round timer expires, the defending team gets a point. If the attackers eliminate all defending team members they earn a round win. The first team to win the best of 25 rounds wins the match.

HOW TO PLAY

Currently Valorant is in closed Beta. However, you can easily gain access to the Beta by watching twitch streams! Here are some quick steps:

-Head over to this Website: https://beta.playvalorant.com/en-us/

-Connect your Riot Account with your Twitch account

-Watch at least 2 hours of drop enabled Valorant Streams.

You need to have the stream unmuted and be tabbed in for your watch time to count. Eventually you will get an email from Riot telling you that you've been accepted into the Beta!

REGIONS

Unlike League of Legends, Riot has gotten rid of Regions in Valorant. Once you launch the game it will place you in either EU or NA based on your location. The only way around this is with a VPN, but this may lead to your account being banned, so I don't recommend.
