One of the most loved features of TeamSpeak is the ability to use our software anonymously or offline.
It is important to us, and our users, that these functions remain. However, some of our new features, like the new secure global chat services, WILL require a TeamSpeak (formerly myTeamSpeak) Account.
All TeamSpeak Account services are optional.
Yes. Our new client is fully backwards compatible, with its core function being run on the same proven technology as its predecessors.
It is fully compatible with current versions of the TeamSpeak Server, so you don't need to set up additional software or reconfigure your existing infrastructure.
The TeamSpeak 3 Client will remain a citizen in our ecosystem and we will continue to support it. Our priorities, however will shift to TS and its development.
When the all-new TeamSpeak is released, it will provide a solid foundation with all of TeamSpeak's core features. From that point on, we'll closely work with you - our users - to continuously improve TeamSpeak to regularly add new and exciting features.
Is it me getting old, or the new TS is confusing?
It's not just you.
I thought I, too was growing cobwebs but no - it is indeed Teamspeak.
