It’s been a great ride

Howdy everyone,

It breaks my heart to say this, but I am having to leave TAW. I am Active Duty in the military and my name has been called to be an instructor at basic training. As such my time here must come to a temporary halt. I have had the best time here and have made so many friends. Starting in Arma, launching DCS out of Vanguard, to working my way up to TFO, and finally to where I am now as a CC. I could not be more greatful for all the hard times this community has helped me through and I hope those that read this understand how much of a family you all are to me. I hope everyone of you had an amazing time here as I did and I hope to see you all again here in the future.

To the CC team: I have enjoyed the ride with every one of you. You all put so much work into this community to make it work and I commend your efforts. Please keep this community going and I wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Albenji: Where do I start, we have been working together for the past 3 years in PX at both the CC and TFO level. Thank you for all the time you have put into me and I see you as a true friend of mine. I hope your new house serves you well and that you enjoy your time here. You are an amazing person and hope we meet again.

Subrat: I have known about, talked to, and worked under you from pretty much the day I showed up. I have always looked up to you and the way you lead and I know as a stranger these words may not mean much, but you really are an inspiration to follow and I hope you enjoy your time here and that I see you again soon.

Braveheardt: Although I may not have known you on a personal level, you have been the CiC a few times in my tenure and honestly you have been a driving force in making my time here in TAW the place Id always want to be. Thank you for all that you do and I hope that you continue to be that for members to come, I enjoyed playing late night games and talking about life with you and the old guys haha!

Nobsya: I remember when you first joined, the rest is history. I have never had a closer friend during my time in TAW. You are a hard charger, meticulous worker, and an amazing friend. No matter the tasks you always rose to the occasion. I’m sorry that I have to leave, but duty calls. We will always have our #s to talk at anytime you always have my ear.

MMG: From our long night chats, to our guessing games, to real life stuff I enjoyed it all. I consider you a friend of mine and I hope you well on your RL ventures. Don’t be a stranger.

I have made so many friends here in TAW and I am sorry for those that I have missed, I consider all of you family and this post would just ramble on and on because you all mean the world to me. I hope you all enjoy your time here and continue to make this place the way it is, the reasons I joined, and to help others feel the way I do about this community. With a heavy heart I leave this message.

It does not sadden me to see you leave as we've made so many great memories together, as I know we'll remain close friends no matter what, and as I know that you are being called for positive and great duties.

And because eventually we both knew that RL would kick in at some point.

I know that you are being called for an important task, and I wish that I was called the same way!

My only hope in the future is that you will eventually come back and have time to spare with your TAW family !

Also, my best wishes for you next adventures and my many thanks for your mentorship, your friendship and your support during those past two years with you.

Times have been rough and you know me better than anyone else here, but we always worked hand in hand together towards a greater good. Meaning we both evolved during those two years, and for the best, for sure.

It's been an honor to server under your command, enjoy your life!

Rav, indeed it has been a good ride I think you are going for another as you serve our country training future personnel. It was a pleasure and an honor to serve with you here TAW for all those years, I truly appreciated your straight forwardness with which you handled all circumstances. Your honor and integrity I never questioned and TAW is at least temporarily losing a great leader. I'm sorry to hear this but i want to thank you for the amazing ride in PX. I had an awesome time starting from CO under your command, forwarded into TFO under your command! Thank you for the guidance, mentorship, support and friendship mate! May the last part continue even though you are leaving.

Sad to see you go, but sometimes its also good to shake things up. I'm sure your new job will be plenty of fun, and i wish you the best of luck.
