Empyrion Division would like to invite anyone who is interested in checking out the game to join us in a six-week playthrough inside an up-and-coming scenario entitled Star Salvage. While this scenario is new to our group, we thought that it would be a great time to check it out and invite those who are interested to come and learn about the scenario with us. There are plenty of veterans within Teamspeak to help answer questions about the gameplay and to give advice on the best survival tactics.
Empyrion: Galactic Survival in a nutshell; a little bit No Man's Sky, a little bit Minecraft, a bit of DayZ all wrapped up in a fight to survive and progress both individually as well as a group.

This is a great initiative and awesome way to have a look at the game if you have ever been interested in this title. Awesome job to the EMP Division to both drum up something new for their members as well as bring the rest of TAW into their realm. Hope you all check this out and have a great time along the way!

We started off the first season of TAW-only Empyrion play with the Star Salvage scenario last evening. We didn't get any intra-division players joining in; but I want to extend the invitation to anyone who would like to play the game with us to stop by anytime in the Empyrion teamspeak channels down in 4th Corp.
We started the scenario by getting our feet wet with the basic survival tactics that a few of us haven't used in a while. Starting fresh with no assets at hand is always a welcome challenge to overcome. Within a couple of hours, we had people choosing specializations and preparing to follow the new quest lines that each specialization brings whether it is the medic, explorer, engineer or combat specialist; we currently have at least one following each path.
For anyone who is new to the game, we welcome you to stop by and enjoy learning the scenario along side of the current Empyrion crew. For anyone who has experienced vanilla or other scenarios, I can assure you'll see something new within moments of planetfall.

From the main menu, select "Join Game" and let the multiplayer server list populate to about 1500 servers.
Enter TAW In the filter in the upper center of your screen.
Left-click on the Star Salvage server and click Connect.
There will be multiple starter locations available. Read through the descriptions of each until one looks intriguing. We will have players within close proximity of all starting areas, and within a couple of days, there should be easy access to any starter planet if help is needed. For anyone who is new to Empyrion, I would suggest to begin on the Easy Storyline start; even though the experience is not a cake-walk, you'll find it to be the most welcoming. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a discord message anytime or just stop on by the teamspeak channels and if someone is around, you'll find a wealth of gameplay help and knowledge from any of the members.
