QW NEEDS YOU TO SIGN THE ONLINE PETITION

That is correct.

If you are not aware, the authentication server for ETQW has been down for nearly 2 months.

What this means is that if a server restarts, or is shut down for any reason, it will no longer populate the online server list within the game.  This is not just a TAW issue, it is a gaming community issue. 

Myself and the rest of the TAW QW staff have been emailing, posting on forums, calling, and in the near future, possibly going to the office of one of the software companies that is, or has been at one time attached to the game in some form.  Most of the responses we have been getting have been just passing the buck on to someone else, claiming that "it is not us, it is them". 

The one shining beacon in this entire debacle has been the forum admin, Badman, at Splash Damage.  So cudos to him.  We appreciate everything he has done, and is doing to help us resolve this issue.

What we are doing is collecting a list of both TAW, and non-TAW QW players, on a petition to send to all 4 companies involved to let them know that there is still an active community playing, and competing in with QW.

So if you have ever played the game, WE NEED YOU to sign this petition so we can get the largest collection of valid in-game callsigns, and send it to them showing how much support there is within the gaming community for QW.

Hello TAW clan, I'm here from IOS and just wanted to say that we will try to get the servers back up and running. We've been playing QW since it came out, having good times at Quakecon (with you, the TAW clan also at Quakecon) so will not let this continue. We hope they listen!
