great fun, its just TAWesome. Lots of friendly and wonderful people.
The awesome people i meet on daily bases and the opportunity to boos people around so they can have more fun. I really love that it's a community with ideas behind it and goals, and there is so much you can learn and give.
The Art of Warfare is an amazing organization for many reasons. I spent a many years growing up in TAW. From when I joined TAW in May 2005, to the year I took a break from 2007 - 2008, and when I eventually left again to focus on some real life issues in July 27, 2011, I was with some of the best people in the world.
One great thing I love about TAW is that has been a 24hr 365day a year group for the last 11 years. I remember my late nights gaming with Parker, and Doedel, or chasing Omega in the indestructible buggy in Battlefield Desert Combat mod in 2005, or sitting in meetings with Chaoswolf and Icarus making events to make the first MMO in TAW history work in 2007. I can't forget the time when I joined up with the other leaders of TAW and we took home the trophy for the TAW Wide Tournament for FEAR.
And than there was TF2, oh dear god was there TF2. In my history in TAW I was never in a Division as long as I was in Team Fortress 2 Division. I played every roll possible in that Division, from helping out as a Drill Instructor, to server administration, to SO, XO, CO, and eventually DC of TF2 Division. I put all my talents on the table in those two years. I proved to myself that I was more than I thought I was.
To end all that I also got the opportunity to bring TAW's idea of a radio program to life with TAWcast. TAWcast has been the longest running radio program for TAW. I don't know if its still going but the crew that I worked with was amazing. We had ups and downs as every project does, but the experience and entertainment one receives from a project like that makes every second worth it.
So TAW, I want to say I love you like a son loves his dad, like a marine loves his brothers in arms. You have always been there and will always be there.
I haven't been in TAW for very long, but came because TAW has the level of dedicated, organized activity I was looking for.
I remembered TAW from the BF 3FL competition days and was happy to see they carried on in a positive direction. Many large gaming clans have fallen apart over the years, but TAW stands strong.
Came to TAW for the friendliness of the community, the teamwork of the people in my game unit, and just overall fun. I rarely seen clans stay afloat for more than 3 or 4 years, much less like TAW.
I first came to TAW under the Combat Arms unit, when it was still large, active, and not in Sentinel. I was sadden to leave to focus on my schoolwork, but am back now for SCII.
Hopefully, I will be here for years to come!
I found TAW when I decided I wanted to join a gaming community for the first time. A posting on a forum for TAW caught my eye and was the only one that interested me from the few I saw. The post was over 2 months old so I didn't even know if they were still looking for people for Dota 2 or how big TAW was. I threw an email to the person who posted though and received a response within a couple days. iKoN explained to me what exactly TAW was and what to expect. I told him I would try it out and see how things go. It has been exactly what I was looking for. I'm so glad I found this community and joined. I've only been here for about 1 month but everyone is so great to talk to and play games with. I hope to be around for a long time to come and hope that I can help make TAW even better.

hey everyone im new to TAW. i joined yesterday its even been fun for me :). such an great community. i just have one question when do i get ranked to PFC?
AnthonyD, this depends on your division, usually around after 2-4 weeks
Remember what's been lost. Fight for what hasn't been.
We do this for those who came before us, and those who come next.
Be the leader they need.
Usually after attending 4 (mandatory) events, at least at our division :)
Social Operations Corps Commander - You want exposure? We might help.
Can I haz stickers too? :D
What I love about TAW is the fact that it managed to stay organized and fun at the same time. It's quite the chemistry to get that to work out most of the time, but the age and professionalism of TAW shine throughout every aspect of it.
Also, I love to be able to troll my CO. <3 (just kidding :P)
One of the things I love about TAW is that everyone's so friendly, and nice. I even had a few members helping me get better at Starcraft, which was and still is a big deal to me.
Plus it really is nice to have someone to talk to.
I pretty much came with the intention of getting some people to play starcraft 2 with and getting better at it, but I'm staying with the intention of playing with great and nice people.
I love... gooold~
The code of ethics.
We hold ourselves to a higher standard.
Too rare, both in the gaming world and real life.

More i look at info on the webpage the more i want stay with you forever. Yes i been study how rank are the rules and games you all play. So i trying to get knowdegle about TAW more i read and learn more i want to stay longer really long this most oranize guild i ever been in. Who ever founden this guild should be very very happy.
For me it's plain and simple: scheduled events and mature enforced rules. I curse like a sailors wife, but am happy to be asked not to curse so much. The scheduled events make it so that instead of hoping to find someone online, you know for a fact that you'll have at least 4 people show up to the practice. Makes better gameplay for everyone, and saves time for us all.
I've been in too many groups. I got my first PC in April of 2012, and since then have been trying to find a community to join up with. I've been in so many, and hands down I know I'm not leaving this one. Just too much fun and ambition going on here. When you get the feeling the group is trying to be the best it can be from a recruit perspective, there's something special there.
