Hey all!

A bit late since i've been here for a week now, but let me introduce myself. My name is Ronald and I'm from the Netherlands, 22 years old and I work as a system administrator for an assurance company.

Other than that I'm a 'hardcore' gamer, I play a lot of games and I try to be the best in every single one. This includes games like WoW, Guild wars 2, Call of Duty (black ops series), Battlefield and ofc the most important SC2. I don't have a long history with RTS games, other than age of empires when I was a kid and warcraft 2.

Starcraft opened up a new genre for me, one I enjoy way more than I expected. I had set myself a goal, 2 years ago not long after the release of WoL: To reach the platinum league. Though this sounds easy for most, it took me nearly 2 years of 'casual gaming' to reach it (over a1000 games) but a couple of days ago, I finally reached platinum on 1vs1 on the US servers!!!

Gaming for me is a great way to forget IRL problems and stress etc. and to keep myself busy during my free time. Imo it's also a great way to meet new people and gain new experiences. I've traveled for guild/clan meetings and have met a lot of great people during my 'career'. This is one of the reasons I've got gaming tattoo's, SC included very shortly.
