The Cutting Edge, back on teamspeak?

Hello! This is Xenokilla from OS, TAWcast division. Just trying to see if there is any interest in starting up at Cutting edge hour on unsday afternoons around 4pm est. The idea is to be mostly computer hardware focused. The format is something along the lines of each show has a topic ex graphics cards, monitors, cpu's ect. I'd start with a little 10 to 15 minute presentation on that weeks topic, then give some deals and news then open the floor up to questions and discussions. I plan on recoding the show and putting it on the TAW media player to play along with TAWcast. So, anyone interested?

I am interested in this, considering that I want to become a person who works with technology, but I must ask:

Will Cutting Edge be "Hardware focused", or will there be some other elements (examples: software, cloud based technologies, certifications) included within featured episodes?

Also, what will be the "target audience" of Cutting Edge (Will it be geared more to our tech community, or will people with a limited understanding of computers be able to understand the information)?

Product reviews? oh for sure. I don't know too much in specific about the cloud but i can talk about it in general, like an overview of what it is, how its used, pros and cons, security, competing formats ect. Is that what your looking for?

4pm EST Sunday is usually a busy time for TAW. I can think of several large groups that meet at that time. You might want try an hour or so earlier.

right, i want to be after the TFO meetings and what not, but not too late for our EU people, so 5pm est? which would be 10pm in the UK and 2pm on the west cost, i think. Or we can do it Saturdays if there is a better time? im open to any suggestions.

Actually it was the EU guys I was thinking of. 4pm EST = 9pm GMT which is when a lot of EU guys are meeting or in a match already by.

@Xeno - More along the lines of if somebody bought a product and wanted to record a short review of it for TAWcast.

Hmm, I would certainly be interested in attending those again! as for timing, Saturdays at 3 or 4 EST does sound good!

Okay, so any objections to 4pm Saturday? I'm going to get with Hook when i see him next to confirm everything and get a channel.

Yea thats the boss there. it looks like were going to shoot for next Saturday Sep 17th at 4pm as the launch date. Topic is probably going to be graphics cards because... well... graphics cards. Will certainly be there. but why not start this saturday? may as well start right away, if thats ok. Besides graphics cards, good topics would be SSD's and upcoming CPU news.
