so i have a issue. I cant decide weather or not to upgrade the system or build a new one.

Option 1: Upgrade
layout will be "Current Component .......... Upgrade Part"

20" LED Acer x2, 24" LCD Aoc x1 .......... 23" Led Acer x3
4GB DDR3 ............ 12GB DDR3 (higher speed)
Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 .......... Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 TI
AMD Athlon II X4 (3.0GHz) .......... AMD Phenom II X6 (3.0GHz)
1TB HDD .......... 5TB HDD

this totals to around $1,400

all in all the system worked. but i need more.. i dont care for  it.. the upgrade would be nice.. however i want to build one.. so heres my build list.

all items have been linked to there source

Option 2: New Build
x4 23" LED Acers
Thermaltake NVIDIA Edition
ASUS EVO AM3 NVIDIA SLI PCI-E 2.0 x16 (dual @ x16)
Thermaltake 750w GOLD PSU
16GB Corsair DDR3 1333
AMD Phenom II x6 1090T Black Edition (3.2GHz)
OCA 100GB SSD (C:/ Drive)
10TB Western Digital - standard (hdd)
x2 Nvidia GeForce 560 Ti - BestBuy
+mouse, keyboard, x2 blu ray drives
thermal greese, plus thermaltake heatsink.

that comes out to 132$ Instant Savings
Totaling around $2,100 + 342 shipping (NO WAY I WILL WAIT 3 DAYS!!!)

so 2,500 including couple of monsters and some pizza!!

what do you guys think?

Upgrade = $1,500  -- Decent Build
New = $2,500 -- Totally Awesome Build!!
plus everything NEW!!

well, to qualify your needs, I will need to know several things. What games do you play? At what settings and resolution do you game?

This will effect which cpu/video setup you need.

Rather, may I suggest a setup of a new build for about 2500 total?

Case and PSU combo:

Video card x2:

CPU:

Memory:

Mobo:

SSD:

HDD:

Monitor:

I would highly recomend a build like this, very similar to the one I have. The monitor is the exact one I have. 30" ones are very nice.

You would just need to choose, optical drive, keyboard, mouse, and 120mm fans of choice.

ah, forgot to mention, it would be more like 2800 plus shipping and extras, but I think it would be worth it.

If there is something you want to change or questions or stricter budget, let me know.

:C I am just saying, the i5 is going to be better for gaming, though it depends on the games also. Also, it is VERY overclock able. right now, ATI and intel are kinda owning the game, though nvidia is also strong. Keep in mind I do not believe AMD supports SLI anymore on their mobos, since AMD and ATI are still the same.

So, if you want SLI, I would recomend intel to go with it, but I would caution against the 560 Ti's, they have had some issues. However, 2 gtx570's would also be a nice solution!

ah ya, the 6950? ya, that's a sweet card. You may need to get a mini DP adapter for the 3rd monitor.
