I'm in the market for a Mechanical keyboard but having trouble finding which ones are the good ones to get. All the research i've done are basically other companies talking about the 20 best mech keyboards however noone lists the same ones in order.
Anybody have suggestions on a decent to hi-end one?

I have been using the Razer Black Widow Ultimate mechanical keyboard and have had no major problems with it. I have tried the Corsair K70 and ended up returning it due to the red LED lighting being too hard to read. My next mechanical keyboard will probably be another Razer Black Widow version.
I actually have the older Black Widow mech, so I can attest to your comment. Wasn't sure if there were other ones that stacked up to it. Good to know though. I think I may get the BW pro version, I like the minimal keys.
I too use the black widow ultimate 2013 and love it but the other one I always hear good things about is the steel series version. I have their mouse and love it more than any razor mouse I have ever own

cyborg - strike 7...enough said( + rat 7)...now im done:)
I got a steelseries steelkeys 6G V2 Red Edition, and it is awsome. Atleast for Starcraft. Tried black switches before but after a few 6hour session on ladder if felt that I could poke a bear to death with my fingers. Go to a store and try what type of switch suits you best, and then make up your mind.
I have a DasKeyboard and have been very happy with it, i have had it for a little over a month now. Its great for typing and gaming which is what i needed.

i have the mx red switches
I would also highly reccommend CMStorm Quickfire series. The quickfire rapid and quickfire stealth are both made by the same factory as Filco keyboards [widely regarded as the "best" by keyboard enthusiasts] but are $60 cheaper. They are also easy to find in the US. They are also sold on amazon so are backed by a great return policy. You will not find a better looking, better performing mechanical keyboard at this price. It's got everything: media keys, standard layout for future custom keycaps, steel plated, removable usb cable, n-key rollover, ect.
Here is the one I just picked up: http://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-QuickFire-Stealth-Mechanical/dp/B00CKJ2EZI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1376342170&sr=8-1&keywords=quickfire+stealth
It is basically just a quickfire rapid (which has great reviews) with "ninja" keycaps.
Here is regular, cheaper version: http://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-QuickFire-Rapid-Mechanical/dp/B0068INSUM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1376342703&sr=8-1&keywords=quickfire+rapid
EDIT: I would not get a black widow... I have heard mixed reviews about their products from people who have bought many different mechanical keyboards on geekhack.org . Also, for starcraft, I've heard brown and blue switches are best but blues are quite loud/annoying for bystanders.
also, TEAM POLT whoo
This is a very important subject for me too. Do you know any specialized site where different pieces of peripherals are reviewed? In about two months i`ll spend some money on new hardware and accessories and i`m starting to look around.
I use a CM Storm QuickFire Pro, and I love it. Highly recommended.
If you ever need to defend yourself against an army. The Black Widow is heavy enough to work.
lol at Unrated.
Thanks for all the info everyone. That will give me a good basis to start.
While i'm at it. What are everyones thoughts on Mice?
logitech g400
also I own a black widow and I'm unsatisfied, the font is not cool at all, drivers must be installed and running to shut down an annoying logo light, and I don't like the glossy finish for something I puts my hands on, it's IMPOSSIBLE to keep clean. Sometimes the razor software just don't work and require a reboot. bleh.
Just ordered the CM Stealth. Damn good looking keyboard with better than most reviews. Thanks for that link Daemon.
