Who plays LoL or Dota on our Starcraft 2 NA Division?
I do, but I don't do ranked tho. Did my placement matches, got pushed into Bronze due to playing pretty much a 3v5 in 3 of the placement matches.
My ign for LL is the same as my TAW name.
I was thinking about trying that game out for some fun. Is it worth it?
LoL is a great game actually, if you are into MOBAs, you will need to go for LoL. It's an easy game to pick up and play, and will probably eat up chunks of times if you don't be careful (but in a good way). Each match is around 35 to 50min long, depending on how your team do...so you do need to set aside some time for the game.
Get to level 30 and you can then do ranked games...heck if you do well enough, you might even get noticed by the pros !
Definitely what Tracy said. The only thing to keep in mind is that LoL can have a very toxic community at times and my experience with DOTA2 was that it's even worse. There are still genuinely helpful people out there though so listen to advice if people give any.
It'll take a while before you find the champion that fits your play style so don't get frustrated early on. =D
TAW got a LL and DA division, so if you ever want to get a match or two in, you can always go to the channels for the divisions.
You can also try out Smite. It's easier to pick up and play than any of the other MOBAs and has a slightly better community than the most other MOBAs.
And TAW also has a Smite division.
