What do you think about the game so far?
I like the game but hate all the running, the map is too large or needs more vehicles. Good over all
In the end its a battlefield game. Shoot stuff, blow stuff up, run people over, lots of players. I think then going to a WW1 style is neat. Its nice to have a change of era.
The running around can be a hassle, but there's a lot that I've seen as far as game play elements that will be awesome when we can start running huge 32v32 matches again. Can't wait to see how it plays out with everyone working for a single goal.
Loving it, every class has its positive and negatives and people complaining about snipers need to realise that this map is going to be a specific sniping map like every battlefield game has because of how open it is with the deserts. I love the vehicles and the guns. Graphics are outstanding. Me personally I love using the sniper class but without the scope on the snipers because they are really good for short medium and long range. I usually play medic but they serve a kind of useless role. I think they should show up everyone who is dead and if you don't want to be revived you press the button when you die and you cant be revived and the icon disappears. I also am not a huge fan of the new conquest rules and stuff, it is pretty much domination and I think they should just make it a whole separate game mode because classic Conquest is the best. Either way though I am really enjoying the game and can not wait for the game to come out and to paly the campaign and the other maps.
I think it will be a solid fun experience that I will really enjoy. Loving everything so far but we will see where it goes from here.
The thing about these sort of games, not just Battlefield but also games like Quake Wars and Battlefront, is that strategy and tactics are emergent.
Each new games subtle differences requires us to, as subtly, adjust our approach to the game.
Those differences are not always apparent at first, and can lead to a period where attempting to use the modus operandi from another game finds us banging our heads against a wall.
I'm truly excited by the possibilities I can see in BF1. My first impressions suggest to me that as we learn to effectively use the various mechanisms available to use, we will be reshaping how we look at putting together and using effective teams.
And as, for me, TAW is all about the challenge of making team games really, really work.....this is an exciting time.

I am really digging the game.. I love that the weapons are simple. No crazy scopes, no active radar.. just simple look down the sight and shoot.
