Steam is having a big sale on Arma and its DLC stuff. This is a great chance to buy the game for yourself or a friend (the whole APEX Edition is 66% off) or pick up those DLC packs you don't have for 33-66% off.
If you don't have the game, this is a great time to check out the best milsim out there! -And then come play with the Arma Division!

So would the APEX edition be your recommendation if someone wanted to join you guys for a practice and didn't have the base game or any of the download content?
If not what would you recommend.

What Brave asked. Are all the side DLC needed for a starter?
The Apex Edition is all one needs to join us...and then download the mods for either battalion. (Contact me or Ganx or anyone in either battalion for the mods, which are free.)
The DLC is nice, but you don't need it to play.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Great, thanks for that Lucky.
Fair warning, don't be surprised when you see me at practice. Also I am a complete noob so have mercy.
I vote for a CC Scrim!

Easy there turbo, you just want to see me fail...I can see straight through you my little buckaroo.
LOL
I think you're not far off, there, Brave! -But I don't think Mav would rejoice in your noobness or teabag you or anything.
On another note, let's get together and get you the mods you'll need to join a practice. I am happy to spend some time answering questions and helping you get acclimated.
I've been wanting to check this game out so to be able to join y'all I should get the Apex version?
AM 2's mods are on steam these days. So its fairly straight forward to download and install. Let me know if any of you want to play with the EU Battalion :)

Yes, Bfouronine, the Apex Edition has some things we use, so that's what we require.
As Ganx said, if you're planning to play with the EU battalion (AM2), you can get the 3rd-party mods that they use from Steam. Contact Ganx for details!
