Any advice on how to change the way i play the game? I mostly play scav runs hiding and waiting for everybody to leave the map, if i try to use my pmc is the same strategy but worse, waiting 15 mins behind some bush or something to get one tapped at the end of the run, it's really boring.
Group up it makes survival easier
With pmc's spawning at both ends of the map hiding doesn't help unless your setting up an ambush for the players heading your way.
Knowing all spawn points, map, exits and high loot areas helps you know where to expect action.
Loose the gear fear and hard and fast can be an advantage in some areas.
Factory and labs I would stay away from untill your better. Woods can be deadly.
Use the scav runs to learn the maps

Jump in the channels with the members which are active. Go with a squad, they can help you out. Gear fear is something which needs training to overcome! High Risk = High Reward.
