Hey. I found this Free-to-Play RTS game called "War Selection" a few months ago, and I instantly fell in love with it because it reminded me of the times that I used to play C&C: Tiberium Wars. I tried multiple modern RTS games, but I liked this one the most. It has an active development team constantly bringing new updates and they are doing a great job. The game is very well optimized, I had issues only once and as soon as I contacted a developer, he fixed the issue. I think that the best would be if you gave it a shot yourself, since it's free and file size is not too big so you can download it relatively fast. It's a lot of fun. It reminds me a lot of the gameplay from Empire Earth 2, which is a good thing. It has very nice pacing. I wish that it had a skirmish mode, which is currently in development, since I'm not really competitive when it comes to RTS games.
That being said, even if you're new to RTS games you should give it a go as it's very chill, well designed and also free.
On the day I downloaded it, I played for 8 straight hours. So hopefully that's a tangible recommendation.
The game gets really addicting, once you get the taste of it.
Make sure you try this game, it's free and I would really love to see it in TAW. We lack RTS games here.
