Hi' everyone.
I've stumbeled upon a problem. All of a sudden I can't log on to ts.taw.net or visit taw.net on my network. I did a traceroute and the problem is somewhere on the route between my ISP and taw.net.
- The problem dosn't show, when using my mobile as hotspot.
Anyone had this before? Or did my network get some kind of COVI-19?
Kind Regards
NewbieTwo
Seems like a DNS issue, try changing your DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8, one of them is Cloudflare, the latter one is Google.

Good morning,
There are some issues lately connecting to TS; to reassure you, you're not the only experiencing these issues. People from ArmA disconnected from the server when they were moved/ were moved between channels; connected twice to the network (e.g. tapasje [AM 2SA] & tapasje [AM 2SA]1) etc.
Something is up server side and I'm unaware whether they're working on it. It seems that whenever there is a lot happening in the same channel, e.g. ~50 members in out Battalion Channel yesterday started moving after debrief, the server can't catch up and either the server or your client desyncs and boots you out.
tldr: you're not the only one!
As Deathwing said, you could try 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) instead of the usual 8.8.8.8 (Google), however if this is a server sided issue, this won't make any difference.
Kind regards,
I think this is related to the latest client version that's just come out. It doesn't seem to be compatible with the old add-ins. I disabled all my add-ins and I'm not getting the crash when people are dragged any more.
I am facing the same issue
Going to sound stupid, but my CO is from Denmark and she's having the same issue, we've found a work around, and that's using a vpn, don't know what's going on with Danish internet but yeah it works, she used a vpn on her browser and boom taw.net worked, and now the ts work for her as well, hope this helps as a temp fix
I can agree with my TFO here, Using a VPN for the website works, trying out a vpn Tarbuk sent me, i will keep you guys updated!
VPN's work flawlessly. It is our happy country that blocked TAW's stuff, and possibly more, but i dont know any others as of yet. If anyone could pass us some VPN's so we can still have our fun that out country took from us xD
glad (and at the same time not) to know i am not alone and it ain't a problem with my pc (been having it for roughly almost a week now but been too busy and thought it was just the taw web server having issues untill i had to go on TS and find out i'm not able to during one of our events...) now that was a waste of going through a lot of logs and firewall options on browser/pc/router... tried the DNS solution didn't work. the worst thing is i can connect to other webpages or TS servers just fine so it feels like the server just decided to ban incoming connection from my IP address.... hope someone is going to find a solution quickly couse i don't have unlimited data my phone /=
We have an entire Wiki Section from Operations dedicated to support. I highly suggest checking it out.
If the problem persists, send an email to Support@taw.net explaining exactly what the issue is and what you've tried so far. You should get a response within 24-48 hours.

"How may I help you?"
I have same problem, cant connect to taw TS and web page anymore from my PC (everything worked fine last week) , but can do that from phone, it using different internet provider. I talked to my internet support, there are no issues from their side, they told looks like Taw server blocks incoming connection from my IP...
It is not TAW having these issues, it is Internet Companies, from what i can figure out. I can go use the same country as i am in, and connect perfectly fine(With the VPN)
Also able to connect to taw.net using a VPN, whilst connected to the same country. No idea why all of a sudden the ISP is blocking only taw.net. It would be nice to know if this is something to just wait for taw.net to fix, or it's something I need to talk to the ISP about.
We're monitoring this problem but other than seeing possible overloaded routing issues (dropped packets / time outs) due to massive increases in bandwidth throughout the world our specific server and ISP has not made any changes or seen any increased errors / problems / usage. Our host is looking into the issue as well and has so far not seen any issues with blacklisted or blocked IP ranges or addresses. I had heard through the grapevine that ISPs were enacting limits all over the place but nothing specific and I don't think that would be directed at us or our protocols (as they are basic and use little bandwidth).
Anyone with an issue please email your location and IP address to support@taw.net and indicate what specifically is and isn't working for you.
Thank you for your patience, if we learn anything new we will update everyone immediately.
Thanks for the advice!
Tried it, but sadly it didn't work - I actually thought it would..
Thanks for your reply.
Yea it is very odd. Though it works if I use my phone (4g). The trace route is nearly the same all the way to US.
But thanks for your help :)
