So ive been making some videos on and off and putting them up on youtube just whenever i feel like. but recently have found myself recording more and more clips.

the problem im encountering right now that i cant seem to replicate from other content creators like twitch streamers or youtubers in regards to gaming is that their videos are so crisp in details especially in a game like tarkov. youtube says its max bitrate for 1080p videos at 60FPS is 12.

i record on shadowplay at 50mbps bitrate, and use adobe premiere pro to render using H.264 with a high profile w/ VBR 2 pass set to (Min) 22 / (Max) 44

Yet im still finding high mobility / high motion gaming to be completely destroying my image quality once rendered and then a tiny bit more worse when uploaded to youtube. im not sure why its doing this hence the thread. any helpful insight is greatly appreciated and thank yous for your time.

I wouldn't call myself a "content creator" but I can give some advice. Once your recording ends and you review the clips, are the videos at a nice quality before being rendered in a editing software? It should be noted that youtube also decompresses videos and the bitrate will be a bit lowered which would cause some lost of quality but it shouldn't be that bad. What game are you trying to record if I may ask?

yeah i asked around in many places and found info that suggested to export the video at a higher quality even if its native RAW 1080p footage. and increase the target and max bitrate. so i put it to 2560x1440 and had the target at the RAW footage of 50mbps bitrate and target set to 62.4 which was the highest it would go. and i think it turned out better. tho it made my exporting times double by 2.2x roughly and the file size tripled
