Ransomware attack has just crippled Wargaming Inc servers around midnight EST (World of Tanks/Warships/Warplanes developer). They are censoring and removing all information posted on their twitter, Steam and Reddit that attempt to bring this news to their player base and are insisting that nothing is wrong and only a PSU failed which why servers are down. It doesn't take someone to have a degree in computer sciences to know that wouldn't knock out an entire clustered network and if for reason it somehow did, datacenters have redundancies in place and spare parts in stock. With their suppression of the cyber attack the majority of the player base will never know that their data could've potentially been compromised. If you played any of these games and you also used the same login elsewhere I'd suggest you change your credentials immediately.

Update: They are negotiating a payment to prevent their data from being sold off. Which when all said and done no one will be the wiser that it has ever happened and that their information could still potentially be out their in the ransomware groups hands. The majority of companies that take such a position and pay the extortion fee sadly follow this path of denial since it is unlawful (in the United States) for them to comply with ransom demands.
