It’s been a long time. I was a member of TAW back in 2008/9. In the BF2/PR days. Joined the CoD4 division and ended up in CoH in vanguard.
Still being a young kid I had my ups and downs in TAW. Made lots of mistakes and behaved terrible at time, that’s the reason I ultimately was kicked. I believe it was the early 2010s if I remember correctly. That being said, after all those years I just wanted to come back and apologize for my childish behavior. I was a kid who lied about his age to be part of TAW.
Nevertheless I have lots to thank for the TAW community. It gave me a gaming home for many years and a good place to be. Thought me many attributes and important lessons in life which helped me even to this day. Finished school, became an Army Officer in the German Armed Forces and much more.
One might ask, why come back after all those years and apologize. To be honest TAW was always a part of my gaming history and something I was very proud of. Leaving TAW in the manner which occurred was never the way I intended it to be, especially because of the people/things I learned within this community. I always felt the need to come back one day and check up on the progress of the community and its well being. That being said I always believed it was the right thing to do, to commend for my wrong doings and to say "sorry". I am aware that many things has been deleted within my bio, therefore one might not completely comprehend my history. But if those people from back in the day read this, it was worth it.
Welcome back coolhaidar,
A lot of good values in your message, and glad you managed to assess some part of your behavior that might not have been best for TAW !
Best of luck with your reinstatement.
