Hey guys, I am looking for a new mice since the one I am currently using is dying on me.

Been looking at mices such as the Razer Mamba and Steelseries Sensei, but I don't really know if they are good for Starcraft 2.

So tell me guys, what mices are you using? Can you recommend them?

I used a Logitech G9 back in the day, and after switching between a few different ones, ended up going back to it as my favorite mouse and currently rock the G9x.  However both the G500 and G700(wireless) are great mice and get my recommendation.

I had and liked a Roccat Kone+, but both mine and my brothers developed scroll wheel issues, so you might want to steer clear of those for now.

For buying a mouse there are 3 important things, that makes a mouse perfect for you. Two of them are no acceleration, and an accurate laser. Most of the gaming mices these days, have an accurate laser by itself, but unfortunately a lot of them use acceleration - that can´t be turned off in drivers often. G500 for example has some acceleration problems. If you want a Logitech mouse, go with the G400 - it´s the typical Logitech shape, and in the newer models, you can turn off the acceleration completely.

Razer mices dont have this acceleration issues, or you can turn them down, as far as I know. Same goes for the Steelseries sensei.

I don´t know if you need a lot of sidebuttons for Starcraft tho, so I can´t realy help you with that one. In the end you need to find out what kind of grip you have, and which fits you best, whats actually the last point you should consider buying a new mouse. I would suggest you to go to a shop, where you can most likely lay your hands down on all the mices we have been talking about, and find out which fits best.

I use the Cyborg M.M.0. 7 and it is amazing! I strongly recommend it!

Deathadder is still considered as one of the best gaming mices out there. You just have to get used to it´s weird shape :P

I have the Razer Mamba 2012 edition. It's pretty overpriced, but I have never thought of it as a bad buy. It's really ergonomical, precise and custumizable.

The mouse I am currently using is a R.A.T.7 and it is actually only 1 year old by now which is kind of bad. :/

Probably gonna end up buying a G500 or a Deathadder since those two seems to get a lot of praise around here. Keep the recommends coming though, its really helpful!

I'm just gonna chime in here and suggest the Logitech G400 over the G500.

The later models of the G400 (I think anything which PID is LZ13333 or onward.) have perfect sensors, with no prediction, acceleration or angle snapping.  The G500 I believe has some issues in this area.

The Deathadder would be my second recommendation, for the same reasons.
