Hey guys,

I just became a new recruit on TAW, and I thought let's introduce myself. My name is Rikkert Keldermann (in game known as: Awaken). I am 33 years old, maried and got 2 kids (girls). I work full time as Business Intelligence Analyst in a hospital (data data and more data :P^^). I live in The Netherlands in Den Bosch.

I love playing games, mainly RPG en RTS are my main interest.I played a lot of WoW in the past (2-3 years back), In which I was guild leader trying to create a platform that mixes social/casual with progress/raiding (without the hardcore ***), and it worked out fine. However, with very young kids, I need to play games that suit my personal live and amount of time I have for playing those. Nr 1 rule is that my family takes prio over game time :)

I started playing SC I at the university, when I was around 21 years old, playing casual with my friends, and I started playing SC II since the Beta of WoL, WoL, beta HotS and HotS itself. I played a lot of 3vs3 in WoL with my friends, very casual. However, I always felt the need to improve, and hence I started to play 1vs1 since 1 month now and practising more. I am now on Gold, and I my goal is to improve to Plat (one step at a time). Should be possible with some practise. I need to get over the ladder anxiety feeling, but apart from that I am still improving and learning.

In a clan, I search for nice hospitality and a social platform, as well as players to play 2vs2 (I love 2vs2!!!, less ladder anxiety and 2x the fun together on TS), 3vs3, 4vs4 as well as some arcade games (not a big fan of arcade, but I need to go more into it). I also want to help out where possible, to learn from each other, practise build orders, and analysing games together. Being just 2 days in the clan, I already found out there is decent activity in the clan chat and on TS, as well as players willing to help each other out :). My game times are normally between 20.00 and 23.00 (because of work/kids)

I am looking forward to be part of TAW and have a lot of fun, while at the same time improving to Plat!
