so this game is just Heroes & Generals?

I was thinking about getting a paratrooper. I currently have a rank 9 US infantryman and a rank 11 Soviet infantryman that have the career option to become a paratrooper. I also could afford to use my credits to get an academy trained paratrooper. My question is should I choose a career option or get an academy trained paratrooper? And if Academy trained

sounds like a good deal? I can't remember how much gold goes for in game nor how much a 3-day veteranship goes for.

welcome! I've enjoyed H&G so much more since joining TAW. The teamwork and coordination is awesome. The mandatory practices are fun too.
